Did you watch? From heat 6 onwards was excellent but then that's what you get from a properly prepared racetrack. The Poles know how to prepare a track thankfully. Not keen on the new format of sponsorship teams however. Have no interest in who wins.

I've already said I will be there cheering the boys on in June so long as I'm in the Midlands. To say I'd cheer when the stadium closes is quite frankly pathetic.

I always take joy at winning against Coventry. To suggest I'd be happy to see the place close is beyond low. Tut tut.

Don't worry, I'm sure plenty of Wolves fans will be there in June when we take our 2nd win at Brandon. I've gotta be right sometimes! I'm more interested to see how we do against your lot (top 4 rivals) and also the Pirates and Aces. That will give us a clearer idea. Next week could be interesting tho.

you can't replace a reserve with a top 5 rider. Anybody would be crazy to try using periscope again unless they want to face a ban.

Agreed, however this is no quick fix. Do we really expect to have the next generation within 3 or 4 years? Ain't gonna happen. Let's face it there are only a handful of riders that should now be in the 1-5 after 3 seasons. Garrity, Newman, Steve Worrall, Auty. Agree there should be a limit to how many years they should be allowed to be on it. If more riders had the ambition of Garrity we might have more in the starting 1-5 and not take the easy and safe option and encouraged by the promoters to do so as well. We still aren't flush with enough riders ready for the EL draft yet, but it's coming. So 'bulking' the draft with riders that perhaps aren't meant to be on it is a necessary evil as far am I'm concerned. Better that than allowing other countries youngsters to get benefit here AFAIC.

What isn't a farce is that we are finally looking after the British riders and future. It's not perfect but it's better than falsely averaged foreign riders using our league to the benefit of their own country. Now that was a farce.

It would be a farce if you can drop a draft rider for a better quality rider. Completely defeats the object of the draft.

Be good to start our season with a win. You have to win at the weak teams homes if you want to make the top 4. Worryingly this is our first team match but still reckon we will win by 4.
