  1. Other promotions shouldn't be putting out press releases without the home staging club informing first I agree. However what isn't a mistake is that all 3 clubs got the information 100% correct.
  2. It does matter. Fans needed to be treated better. It was obvious that that should become a standard procedure reply for that kind of call off. That isn't having a go at Belle Vue, that should apply to ALL clubs. I really can't see the issue in releasing that statement within 24 hrs. Any blame or fault shouldn't inconvenience the people who help to pay the bills! Investigations on blame can still be ongoing.
  3. Should have been made within 24 hrs! About time! !
  4. and the fact that 3 other promotions had already told their supporters it was off earlier in the week? Just made up then? ? As expected and predicted. And already declared CORRECTLY by 3 other promotions earlier. What a farce.
  5. Agreed , as long as any squad signing fits within the rules to suit all teams then no issue.
  6. the difference is that no other club had a high profile postponement only 4 days ago. 3 clubs making similar statements can't be wrong either. Unless of course you play the Poole line that some take that it's just 'anti Aces'. Given as I class Belle Vue my 2nd favourite team that would be silly of course. Nobody has had a high profile call off 4 days ago , like you say get real. Assurances should be given by the hosting club AND the BSPA that we won't have the same fiasco as Saturday.
  7. Are the Aces management really saying that a practise session will take place on Thursday and if OK will still run the match on Friday?? I mean, do they really think it's fair to other team and fans to expect such leniency with matches running to suit? ?? By all means have a rigorous testing on Thursday. It most certainly needs it. But why should Wolves and their fans be expected to wait on this being successful. No lessons appear to have been learned. There is no way the Aces should be allowed to run a day before a match is due to take place. You are either ready or you ain't. Wolves have every right to expect news within a suitable time frame. 48 hrs before? A push. 24 hrs a possibility ?? No way. I can't wait to visit the new place but have no intention of having my bank holiday ruined by incompetencies in Manchester.
  8. Once he got going he looked much quicker, Joonas was way quicker tho. I really hope Riss does end up at Wolves.
  9. Common sense and I hope that ruling is adhered to. Couldn't care less if NBJ is named in the stars squad, wish the lad well and the team. Looking forward to seeing him and Kai if either are in the side when you come to Monmore. I also couldn't care less if Kai rides most of the matches and NBJ only a few. Just for clarity if would be nice to hear that Kai is the number 8 (as he is exactly what the new rider number 8 position is for) and NBJ is a named squad rider. That makes perfect sense. It makes perfect sense if Kai rides all the matches. What doesn't make sense is that NBJ is named number 8 as he doesn't qualify for that particular ruling. It really should be that simple.
  10. British speedway is in trouble, not any 1 league. A point I have been making for years. Well done for ignoring the obvious but the expected retort. You never fail to deliver.
  11. Just back from the press and practice. Joonas and Fred looked very quick, Fred I think was on a Gerhard engine? Joonas had number one on his bike and kit. The rest I couldn't make out or hear. Cradley and MDL riders also taking part. Meant to add Erik Riss looked awesome too!
  12. I can't imagine that was its original intention but no doubt twisted to suit some clubs due to the rule not being clear as per usual.
  13. Sad news indeed. Just waiting for all the rose tinted PL fans to tell us all is fine in their league as of course it's only the EL that is in a mess.
  14. the way they have built they would be unable to anyway now, How can he be a number 8? Isn't that position designed for 'new' foreigners? (Dennis Jonsson at Lakeside the perfect example) NBJ fails to qualify in that category as an established PL performer.
  15. I'm aware he would be a named 1-5 rider but I thought a PL rider had to be a 'shared' role? I ask the question because I questioned why Poole weren't using Jack Holder in their squad but they can't because they have none of their top 5 as double up riders.
  16. Those options seem to be the ones that are within the rules. Maybe eventually Lynn will give a more accurate press release!
  17. I thought riders signed from the PL for the squad need to be in a sharing role? He certainly wouldn't quality as a newcomer.
  18. It's as I expected. Proves there is way too much work to do to rectify the problem.
  19. I believe a statement is due from God claiming those in the know knew the winter forecast was set to ruin the opening night and gave warning last week. But that was ignored so all blame absolved.
  20. It's not our fault, it's not the BSPA's fault. I mean really???? Just whose fault do they assume it is? its clear no lessons have been learned by those in charge of our sport as is usual it's always someone else's fault. Do they seriously believe anyone is buying the options of running Friday? They had the track tested last week yet that proved nothing. Even if they offered assurances, free entry, free parking, a free easter egg and a £20 gift voucher I still wouldn't waste my time going on Friday. I guess promoters really do think supporters will buy any guff announcement.
