  1. Which one watt or holder?? What injuries are they carrying? Watt just back from injury but holder isn't riding injured tho is he??
  2. A rather unexpected stroll in the park against a weakened Pirates outfit, clearly missing their best rider in magic. The Wolves programme certainly did the best to mess up the Poole line up. Try had holder on his new 7 point average but still had watt on 6.71. So which averages applied? haven't seen a poorer looking Poole line up at wolves in many a year . outgated, out fought and out battled all too routinely.at least holder looked like something resembling a GP rider. Besides north the rest were awful. WOLVES FRED - did a decent job but still not looking overly quick. Protected Jacob well which is exactly what he needs right now at number 2. 3/5 JACOB - was unbeaten in the races he completed and looks the business as a second string. 4/5 MOTM TOBBY - not a very convincing match but still comes up with a decent ride per meeting to gives us a taster just what he can do. 2/5 RICKY - solid effort as has been the case all season long. 4/5 PK - back in his rightful place as a heat leader. A solid and consistent 5 rides. 3.5/5 LEWIS - in the battle of the big hitting reserves he won by a mile. Beaten only once by Newman in heat 8. 4/5 JOSH - was excellent in both the reserves races so more than did his job 4/5 POOLE WATT - won heat 10 out of the blue but otherwise largely absent 1.5/5 HOLDER - 3 good wins and lost a great battle to PK in that heat 10 battle. What is a GP rider doing on a 7 point average tho? Has he really been riding that poorly? 3.5/5 NORTH - 2 excellent wins and has really improved this season with the Pirates, who obviously know how to look after their aussies. 3/5 GOMOLSKI - the high flying in form pole made to look decidedly ordinary but perhaps expected. 0.5/5 GRAJZCONEK - worked hard in heat 3 but went on strike after. 1.5/5 ROSE - pretty awful, beat no one. Starke would have done better 0.5/5 NEWMAN - very below performance from kyle, gave Blackbird little competition, hopefully his is OK after the smash in heat 12.2/5 Good to see a good amount of travelling Poole fans, including one Steve shovlar
  3. Yours were biased. But it won't stop you trying to put down a team of riders you don't rate. Perhaps when you're beloved Robins have managed to catch us up you might, just might have a valid point.
  4. Such Swindon bias, that is wrong naturally. Lindgren v killer - Lindgren with ease . Killer wouldn't get close to what Freddie has achieved in the EL. And as killer hasn't even ridden here this year remains unknown form wise. Wells v howarth - Wells by a comfortable edge. Howarth I still rate tho. Tobby v Morris - plenty more to come from the Pole however Morris is much clearer ahead in the EL right now. PK v zengota - virtually 2 laps ahead in standard for PK Thorsell v batch - no brainer batch Blackbird v Wright - as the top averaged FTR'S from last season Lewis hasn't quite hit those standards yet but when he has been good he has been excellent. Blackbird by a fair distance. Bates v Rose - Lewis is ahead right now but josh has had some very good meetings so far so isn't as far behind at this stage. Rose tho. Wolves Win 4/3 and probably the reason why Swindon are 3 places below Wolves in the table from the same matches.
  5. That's how I feel when I look at the robins side this year. Thanks for summing up my emotion.
  6. Holder at second string (if true) should help the Pirates somewhat however rr for magic, who has much better at Monmore last year, makes the Pirates terribly weakened. Best time to meet the Pirates when they are weakened so should be no problem for taking 3 points and preventing the visitors taking anything away. Have been pleasantly surprised by our start and commitment so am expecting full league points and a continuation of a top 2 spot. 51-42
  7. That's no way to talk about silverbee and SCB. ;-)
  8. Some on social media, but plenty unhappy with his performances of late.
  9. What's wrongs with some Bees fans? Top of the league and taking away points and wins regular but you still want to sack your number one. Bizarre. Fortress lakeside looks to be well and truly over. No surprise the league best team pulling in yet more away points.
  10. [quote name="waihekeaces1" post="2607123" timestamp="1430471795" Either way good to see them win if only to stop Steve brums gloating. Remember last years "top of the table and staying there" rants? No I don't , you have the links no doubt. Be good to see what the apparent 'rant' was about tho
  11. You have faith in your team and I have mine. Pardon me for having an opinion. I see the attitude on here has got no better. It was fun for a while.
  12. I expect to be laughing the loudest come September. Lot can happen between now and then. Even Swindon might hit for and get a win somewhere!
  13. by any definition 4 wins on the bounce including points away IS good form. No doubt you still have your pre season blinkers on. As anyone who knows me will Know I don't bet.But it's nice for you both to have something to aim for anyway. Lakeside, Leicester and Swindon for bottom end scrap maybe.
  14. Shame he isn't here for the whole season , worth the entry money to watch him.
  15. Makes you wonder if he will actually appear for the Robins unless it's just another administration mess up.
  16. Congratulations on beating an in form team. Still have your lot down as bottom end fodder.
  17. Freddie and PK should get 12 or 13 each. We need Blackbird in double figures too.
  18. The time to worry is when you have a heat leader riding poorly (bjerre at Lynn )and you can't win matches and not when he is scoring below average but the team are winning . Obviously in the longer term Hans will need to up his game.
  19. I have friends who are Aces fans so of course I wish them well. As discussed above I always wish the Aces well. Whether they have the ability to pick up more away points tho is debatable. More importantly we have more chances than Swindon who already look nailed on fodder. Matters not how convincing we win matches. If we carry on as we are then we look decent bets for a play off place - the only thing that matters at this stage. Sone people are still looking at teams on paper and ignoring the job being done on track. Which shows up that blinked opinion.
  20. With injuries it is always good to get a chance to take points away from a team that a struggling. Poole have owned Monmore for too many seasons now so I will be happy with any win!
  21. Doing as badly as our Pole then if he has dropped 2 points off his real time average. Good to see the stars bounce back with a win over the title favourites. The Coventry team has been awesome all season so far. I fail to see the reason to attack Hans for an off match.
  22. Well done to the Aces on the result but let's not forget how weakened Poole were with injuries. Had home win all over it with a full strength side, but good on the Aces for taking points off our play off rivals.
