Berwick Vs Edinburgh 12/8 Live On Sky
stevebrum replied to bigeddiechek's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Typical Blazeway, trying to pick fights when riders got injured. More important, great news about Aaron and Matty. The only news that IS important. -
Berwick Vs Edinburgh 12/8 Live On Sky

What a dull meeting, besides Heat 12. Heat 14 took the shine off it and i just hope Matt and Aaron are OK. Dreadful dreadful crash. That`s 2 huge crashes in PL meetings now on SKY. Thank god for air fences. -

I completely agree. It was always my intention to go and watch Gollob in Bydgoszcz at his majestic best but time has run out for that to happen now. -

Dreadful track and racing, dreadful (lack of) referring decision. -

Gollob is a sad sight to watch these days. Heartbreaking to watch. Pedersen owned on his own track. -

The point has already been made. That was from a different pool of riders. 100% agree. Middlo would have still assumed GB couldn't make the Final as well. Completely clueless. -

Well said. Ignored by the usual (and Poole fans who think that Rosco is a Worse National manager than the previous one who couldnt even get us to the final with the same riders!) Sad points scoring to prove a point. Better than taking Middlo`s approach of `we ain`t good enough, so lets not bother`. -

Its called `Starman2006 logic`. Known only to one person. -

It would be amazing IF they were to happen. But we know that ALL promoters only have self interest. I seriously hope a wake up call is imminent for ALL tiers. Perhaps but Middlo would probably say `its what cats do these days`. Thank god we got rid of clueless. Starman2006 will still defend the indefensible! -

Absolutely correct. It is the ONLY way a British rider will be able to break thru. The minute you choose the doubling up/down route you may as well say you lack the ambition and shouldn't even be considered for selection. Lambert seems to be doing things his own way. THANK GOD. He at least stands a chance then of succeeding! At least Rosco got us there unlike Middlo with the same available riders. -

Its only good racing when its in the PL apparently. -

Well said. We finished 4th - so we are ranked ABOVE Sweden, ABOVE America, ABOVE Russia, ABOVE Latvia, ABOVE Czech Republic. And before anyone suggests any of those Countries would have scored more - THEY DIDN'T QUALIFY. Dress it as you want. A distant 4th is better than 6th or 7th. -

Likewise. I`d have preferred we put Lambert and Kerr in last Saturday, or Garrity. Time is NOW to start the road to bringing on the next generation. Thanks to the EL these kids (who are good enough) have a platform to build a career on. In saying that the team Rosco picked did the business (last Saturday) but i do hope this 5 year plan than has been mentioned includes the next generation from now on. I watch great EL racing at Monmore most weeks - and the reserves races often are a highlight. Obviously that makes me wrong for dare suggesting its been a good plan because you don't find it interesting. By the way isn't `putting in a snide remark about the PL` (by me) any different to `putting in a snide remark about the EL (by you) ? Just saying. -

I have no idea what posts you have been reading. Clearly not mine if you believe i have said the EL is in good shape. Have you had an eye test recently? I might take you a bit seriously if you think the likes of Lambert aren't a real talent. -

I expected a 3rd place as per our usual efforts. Rosco raised the boys and they rose to the challenge. -

Ridiculous. Rosco got us to the final. Middlo just assumed we weren't good enough to make it. Big difference. Rosco took us to the final with the same riders Middlo said weren't good enough. Enough said. -

Well done to Iversen and Denmark for stealing it at the death. I`d have preferred Poland to win than Nicki`s Danes. A good final and an awesome track as always. -

I know what you are saying, however lets take great comfort from the fact we qualified of right. The result, as much as we would have liked better, was never in doubt. I am still proud we have a British World Champion to be proud of. What he needs to inspire tho is the BSPA to wake up, smell the coffee, start getting behind a proper training programme for the next generation and look at why our EL is as weak as it is and how we can give the EL public they league they will support! -

Agreed, Harris is fighting hard but has a habit of throwing away positions. Did excellent in his last ride tho. Funny how you compare Hancock but what other team has an inspired rider this SWC? NONE. The likes of Iversen and Ward should be winning for win if we take your example. It isn't Tai`s responsibility to score every point possible not in this field. If he is giving 100% then i am happy. IF USA had qualified they would be 4th with an unbeaten Hancock. Fail to see your point. I take it you are happy with his win now then? HE HAS, Time to drop it now.
