A question was asked and a point was made. Perhaps you can let The White Knight and Vincent Blackshadow know they have no relevance on this thread also. -

So Poole didn't buy Grajzconek ?? Swindon didnt buy Morris? Belle Vue didnt buy Worrall? Lakeside havent just paid for Lawson??? Wolves didnt buy Wells?? If there was only one league then it would be aimed at the top boys. The rest of the PL standard riders would be part of it. -

Doubt it, they would struggle. With regards the `squandered money` - if you have read other posts i have made about the state of British speedway and how it is run you will know exactly my feelings on that. FWIW - if the PL had their own TV contract i reckon they would do exactly the same thing, So no, tne PL is not the golden way of doing things in the slightest. -

The PL would struggle to run without using riders from the EL. Simples. -

Well said. We are ALL in this together! EL get preference if the rider is an asset of an EL club, as it should be. -

The PL relies on the EL riders AND the NL riders too. If none of them co-operated there wouldn't be any viable league. If there was one league it would still feature the best riders so EL is correct. -

Think its the fairest way of doing things. Surely the rider who belongs to a club gets priority, doesn't matter which league it is! -
You compared the 2 in the EL. If Cooke is awful at Poole, then Janowski is beyond dreadful at Monmore. No one is comparing them on the World stage, or should be. Cook is better in the EL however.
-
Thought the same of Janowski at Monmore. Scores of 1+1 and 2 points. Lee Smart would have scored more.

Don`t forget to remind everyone you still ignore me tho wont you. PMFSL. Back to a more sensible EL thankfully. PL-ers, you have my sympathy. -

You forgot to mention you have me on ignore but still choose to read all my posts and reply. Has anyone explained to you WHY there is an ignore function?? The EL loss is the PL`s gain, poor things having to read your posts. Still vying with Shovlar for the worst poster and losing miserably ;-) -
Better than someone who thinks fleeing from the police , drunk and drugged up as `what kids do these days`.

Biggest Disapointment....

Benko and Berge look the only `ifs` so far this season. In saying that i`m looking forward to travelling to see them myself. -

Personally id rather you ignored me instead of keep replying to every post. Not missing you one bit by the way :-) -
Poole don't do Brits, or care about em ;-)

Woffinden and Harris the only riders that should be secured a place. Nicholls has retired from International duty and is way past his best at that level before he retired. King SHOULD be the next automatic choice but needs to be racing abroad to be a definite pick. It is time to push the likes of Worrall and Cook who are the next riders who appear ready for that level. Barker and Bridger do give their all but appear to be out their depth at that level. Hopefully the reserve nominations in the EL will give us one or two potential picks for the future - with the likes of Lambert and Ellis (in particular) showing great promise.

I think that can be acknowledged as a given!

True, but in favour of the World champ ;-) But in Poole language ...... Darcy is still the best , by miles . Its nothing to do with having a go at Poole. In fact its Pooleites that are trying to turn the obvious into something about Poole and Ward! The stats show the evidence from a GP and league perspective. The rest is just opinion. -

Time will tell, but i doubt he will be a one season wonder. He now knows what it took to make it to that stage and i doubt he will suddenly decide to step backwards in his career. Likewise i am more than delighted that our Wolves aswt has developed from boy to man in front of our eyes. I cannot wait to see what this and many years hold for him. He has the number one jacket now and others will be ready to shoot him down. Think he has already proven he has the ability to defy the odds. Everyone starts afresh in 2014 so lets see who `brings it`. -

This is the whole point Sidney. Ward is probably one of the most natural and gifted riders in any a good year. IF`s dont win you World titles and IF`s dont stop you getting injured by over riding and ruining your title hopes and IFS need to stay out of trouble and put your career first. WHEN Darcy does all those things he MAY just fulfill that promise and talent. As yet he is just one huge talent yet go all the way in the sport. Tai already has done ALL those things mentioned and showed what it takes to fulfill potential and ability. -
