Proof is already available. When Emil came over to ride for Cov figures were up everywhere Cov went. Like i said - its unlikely to ever happen again. But you probably don't read things fully i would expect.
-
I hear what you are saying, just think rigged is the wrong wording.
-
Rigged? Really?? I would say that teams with 2 youngsters as assets should only be allowed 1 to ensure things are evened up. Why shouldn't teams with young assets have priority?? So its OK for some teams to sit back and do nothing and then expect the best draft riders?? I am hoping this system (with some modification) is here to stay and hopefully that will encourage ALL EL teams to start investing in BRITISH youth and not looking for the best foreign newcomer. Obviously many believe that going for NL riders is a step to far for the EL. But what is clear we have to do something about spiraling costs and lack of top foreigner riders wanting to ride here. I long for the days of a strong EL, but i cant see it happening anytime soon. But the answer is simple - get the top boys over and crowds will come back. Win win.
-
I cant imagine there is an EL fan out there that doesn't want the big boys back and a strong EL again. But so far as regular racing and entertainment goes, i couldn't agree more.
-
Prices have gone up with inflation which is in stark contrast to EL teams going weaker. I don't think its rocket science to suggest that bringing back the top boys will help increase numbers on the terraces as that is what a lot of the stay aways have been saying they want to happen. I don't think promoters dare ask fans to pay more than they are now, not for the reduced standard and quality of the teams. However by looking at the bigger picture surely the promoters can see same night racing + big stars back = bigger attendances?? Will it cost more?? Probably but if that is the price needed to tempt people back to watching on the terraces then it surely is worth pushing for?
-
If we want the top boys back and a really meaningful EL then we have to fall in line with Sweden/Poland/Denmark. Not that it will happen as most promotions are only interested in their own needs first and foremost.

Yet more bull. ooooops you cant see these posts but have to mention both our names in every post. I am loving the comedy work you are certainly great entertainment at posting nonsense! Are we `blocked` by the way, funny you haven't mentioned it more than 20 or so times. Thank god for the light entertainment.
-
No, the troll wont get it.
-
Gater1 is a troll that just seems happy to be Anti Tai for some strange reason. Says the troll who admits to posting bull. Classic.
-
We are the lucky ones then. Got a feeling it will be in double figures come the end of the week. Sounding more and more like a Poole fan! Its a shame we have posters like you/KKS/JJR et al who actually admit to posting bull. Thank god im not part of this particular family, one thats getting smaller with every `block`. And in some cases if you dont agree just put them on Block - although `ignore` is the correct terminology. Not like that poster is known for posting facts!
-
Usual anti Tai post. Its only cheating if you break a rule. If you show me that rule you might have a point. Yet more bull. He didn't break a rule so it wasn't cheating. End of. Of course it is. The new KKS/Shovlar/troll poster. This poster even admits it posts bull. You just couldn't make it up.

Reading it as i saw it and quoted as the part that was relevant, Did i say i disagreed with your whole post?? Jeez, some people need to lighten up a little. As for Gustix comments and replies. Why did you not mention that he has made the `read through before diving in` (your words) comments because several have quoted that one post? Just saying if you want to give full flavour to quoting other peoples posts. -

Be nice if they got little details like right Country of birth right tho, couldn't put up with that all year. Thank god for knowledgeable speedway people presenting our sport. Crump was good and unbiased tho. -

I can only echo that. No one expected it, but then nor did anyone expect of Tai last year. Except making the top 8 the year before last and winning one you mean..................... oh and making another final tonight. The worst comment i have read this year. It is as if you have never watched Speedway before such is the lack of knowledge. Sour grapes because a Poole rider didn't win the final. I will just go and get you a tissue in case you are still sniveling. -
Robert Lambert Mouthing Off In The Star. Oh Dear.
stevebrum replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Thoughts are if he was a Poole asset you would be on his side. He would have been scathing at how dare the BSPA treat there asset so badly!! Think you answered your own question! It is a dangerous situation the lad has put himself in. He has said nothing different to what Woffy, Rico, Scotty have said in the past. However by putting his German commitments first he might just have cut his own nose off here. If you want the 3 point average that the UK brings then he is entitled to it. But don't go on about putting another country before your nations commitments! If he wants to be treated fairly and is serious about his comments then yes he can be re-assessed on a 4 (fair for Milik so fair for Lambert) and leave the Stars in the lurch! Hopefully it is an off the cuff comment and heat of the moment thing that is repairable. -
I mentioned the FACTS, but as expected you prefer to add circumstance to somehow prove your theory.
-
Dear oh dear. Talking of new lows you seem to be disputing facts that Morris was originally released, Ty replaced Doyle, and Morris replaces Ty. I guess those are all disputable in the Najjer world.
-
Its a very easy thing for you to say. Ty clearly doesn't agree with you however. I leave trolling to your cohorts. I actually care about how my teams riders feel, surprising i know.
-
Oh dear. You obviously struggle to read what is in the public domain. Maybe its glasses you need? How do you it hasn't?? He had made his feelings clear. Do you think any other PL club would have the confidence to take him on now?? Somerset have done the right thing for their club by bringing back Morris but the decision taken to drop a rider right on the eve of the season still leaves a sour taste by the management.
-
You could look at it 2 ways regards Nick. They didn't show him much respect when he had all the other commitments did they! Sorry if it seems i was looking for `other` support, i wasn't. Just pointing out another valid point of view. Feel free to ignore it if you want. The point remains however. Correct we will agree to disagree but i will still post on PL and Somerset threads if i feel its applicable. Again, please feel free to ignore.
-
Think we all know the facts that are clearly evident. Morris i am sure is the fans and promotion preferred choice. Nothing wrong in that. If so why not ask Nick BEFORE offering the job to Ty? Can really mess with a riders season doing that. Like i say, think the decision taken stinks but i`m on Ty`s side, naturally. We have a `respect` thing at Wolves where we look after our riders. So obviously i`m going to not like the decisions taken that could have ruined Ty`s season. Nothing matters now. You have the rider you want and we have Ty who is clearly happy at Wolves because we look after him. Think we are all happy. Will still enjoy my trips to Somerset but will have indifference to showing any other support.
