  1. Aarnio is noway better than Wells in any UK league usually. Even this year. You just have to hope the change actually improves you.
  2. He was great at home, which the Aces are pretty strong at the NSS, whilst away he was dreadful which was why he released last year. They need someone who will improve their chances on away tracks. Backward step imho.
  3. So we could replace Nick with someone over 8 then.
  4. It certainly seems like it, but I just don’t think it will happen.
  5. Apparently not although I guess it depends on the timing. We currently have over a point to play with so Wells would fit straight in. Plus as he is an asset he would be coming back to his parent club. Personally I don’t think it will happen tho.
  6. I’ve only seen one person saying different then!
  7. You said the base isn’t the problem?
  8. No need to ‘stick to your place’. Middlo has already said the base is the problem, so has MF. Even Shovlar says that’s the problem. The base IS the problem, it’s already been identified. You are in a one man band saying it isn’t. No idea why you choose to disagree.
  9. It’s already been stated the base is the problem, Middlo already mentioned it. Why else would you need to blade it? The base is the only issue with the track.
  10. Racing on temporary tracks in the GP’s has got better, let’s face it it couldn’t get much worse. However in saying that I can count on 1 hand the amount of decent tracks they have prepared because they mostly still rut up (totally expected) and it’s the ruts that cause mistakes that sees another rider taking advantage. Take the opening round this year, Freddie had it all in the bag until he hit the rut on the 2nd bend that caught quite a few riders out. Until they can produce a track that rides like any decent track they will only offer up mediocre racing at best. Like I have said there have been the odd few that have been superb. But there appears no consistency of replicating that every time. As for Poole, the base problem has been there for several years now and it’s been temporarily attempted to be fixed each time with the result the same every time - it usually returns to the same problem. Only a close season of relaying will sort this issue so this will be yet another wasted repair job. I hope I’m wrong. I’ve always rated Poole as one of the better racing tracks till about 8 years ago.
  11. Disagree, on paper we were highly ranked with 4 riders who rode at number one last season. On paper very strong, on track mediocre at best. Not sure what the management do now as this side is not gelling or performing on track. Nick I expected to struggle for a while but Jacob? Staying faithful to them both is turning our season into a calamity. Gonna be hard to make top 4 now unless there is a sudden turn in form. Disappointing showing.
  12. Yes I remember the good old days of 40-38 happiness. People still forget there was a lot of strung out races as well tho back then!
  13. We don’t have 13 heat matches or am I missing something?
  14. Killing off team speedway would axe another 3rd of all supporters. Yea good idea.
  15. We don’t do comfortable home wins anymore. Another home loss would be as good as season over. 47-43 home win,
  16. It’s queer as well as questioning, depends how comfortable you are with the word. Anyway best steer away from such subjects as it could go down an undesirable route! Now, have we got conclusive proof of which is the best trainer?
  17. What’s Tina Turner got to do, got to do with it?
  18. Perhaps Poole should prepare a safe track so that all riders can race it. Just a thought. But I guess that’s why all the work on the track today yet again.
  19. There putting shells down as well? No wonder it’s bumpy!
  20. There putting shells down as well? No wonder it’s bumpy!
  21. There are limited options these days for making changes and it’s likely there isn’t anyone better on his average to replace him with. As for Wolves they are usually loyal to riders but have been more ruthless in recent seasons. Its all speculation anyway if it may or may not happen anyway.
  22. It’s clear he didn’t like the conditions, along with most other riders I’d guess. Tatum and Pearson said his cut out came out in his first ride.
