  1. May have may not have. All immaterial. Wolves made a change because the averages allowed. Let’s hope that the move does rescue our season.
  2. Poole aren’t exactly know for pushing the next generation of British kids anyway!
  3. And the crowd went wild! Well, the Wolves section did! Ah fair enough!
  4. Nobody did BB, even Poole fans like Shovlar said this was a write off with a weakened team.
  5. I was there in 2009 when we came away with a win. The same night Michael Jackson died.
  6. Got to agree Peterborough over the years has been one of the best tracks in the country.
  7. If the Wolves can’t get 4 points from this match then they have no business being in the play off hunt. Absolutely vital away win 40-50
  8. I didn’t say he pulled out at Poole tho, just that he probably aggravated it on the night. Why Poole are taking a risk on him again tho is barmy.
  9. They can prepare their track however they like! It’s called home advantage. Puzzled as to the struggle to turn bike bit. Are you referring to Kings Lynn? Where the home riders had no problems turning the bike you mean?
  10. Well Poole are the ones with a history of calling meetings off because of missing riders citing ‘damage to business’. Surprisingly haven’t seen another team do it yet but maybe Ipswich will do the same.
  11. The Poole track probably aggravated it too with the waves. Kings Lynn was more gripper so harder on the arms.
  12. Good for the boys to get back to winning ways. Tho letting Swindon take away a point is costly. Away wins needed now.
  13. Nice to see a track with dirt on it, some close action if not a pass fest. Why book Wells who is already carrying an injury? Jorgensen pulled out due to still having an injury with the match well and truly sewn up. Nice to see racing on a smooth track tho.
  14. Gavan makes many good points about Poole, the trouble is some see any type of criticism as an ‘attack’ on the club or are ‘hating’. Which is not the case at all. No club/track/promotion are above criticism. No one club does everything by the book and Poole most certainly don’t. To ask for examples (as I know what’s coming) is blinkered in the extreme. Poole will be in the top 4, I don’t doubt that for a minute.
  15. Ditto Wolves, ditto Swindon (Zack and Lampart giving up), Ipswich (Allen).
  16. Ayres seems to be having a breakthru season and can ride Wolves well. That’s a nice plus for the Robins. Douglas gets to make his debut riding at number 2, Howarth drops to reserve. Wolves need to start settling down if we have any hope of chipping away at the top 4. Any victory would be a welcome start.
  17. When big ruts appear with a press of the foot it has not been rectified. I just hope the racing and safety is nothing like it was when the cameras were last there. Poole used to be one of my favourite tracks to watch racing on when it used to be great.
  18. Kelvin will hopefully give the track a good look over. And let’s face it when the ruts appear again the camera won’t lie.
  19. And? Holes don’t suddenly appear when a foot presses into them!! Poole is a superb race track, or used to be. The state of the base is a huge issue until rectified.
  20. The point being if that’s true then they have easily found a hole that is STILL there, undeniable proof!
  21. It’s pretty clear that the work done to the track is no different to what has been done previously in the past. Quick rush job to paper over the cracks - quite literally. How anyone can defend this is plain crazy. Until this track has had major work to it in the winter it will always be dangerous and a risk for riders. Whether the racing has improved is irrelevant to the safety of the circuit. I wasn’t there last night which is obvious but when Josh says it was a racing incident with no intent then intend to believe his word. He is the one involved. Some supporters only see what they want to see tho.
