  1. No. 1 point to Swindon 15/4 - won 46-44 4 points to aces 27/5 - lost 38-52 3 points to Poole 24/6 - lost 44-46 1 point to Swindon 8/7 - won 48-42
  2. At least the 2nd tier has it right now by having to use 2 pointers at reserve and I agree the correct pathway should be Development >NL>2nd tier>top tier. But once an rider has had 2nd tier experience it’s time to blood them higher up. This is natural progress and this is how Poland have dominated for years now. The likes of Drabik, Smektala, Kubera etc didn’t just become good riders it was because of the training and tier structure. Ditto Zmarzlik, Piotr Pawlicki etc before them. The sooner the BSPA take a radical step and introduce a tiered structure the better but I doubt it will happen as the plan seems to be plan it, bin it, try something , bin that too.
  3. Nobody wants Herpes at any number! Yet have given away 9 points at the Green so far, so hardly biggest home advantage.
  4. Ipswich make a return to Monmore Green on Monday looking to add more points after a surprise home reversal last week, with one foot already in the play offs we need to try ensure we send them home empty handed. Have the Wolves finally turned a corner and we can make it 3 wins on the bounce? Douglas hopefully will be fit to take his place, fingers crossed on that one. I’ll go with a hopeful 49-41 that’s what my head wants. Heart says 46-44. thoughts? WOLVERHAMPTON: Rory Schlein, Ryan Douglas, Jacob Thorssell, Nick Morris, Sam Masters, Kyle Howarth, Luke Becker.IPSWICH: Chris Harris, Cameron Heeps, Danny King, Richard Lawson, Krystian Pieszczek, Edward Kennett, Jake Allen.
  5. There are some great kids coming thru. Both Thompson twins, Leon Flint, Kemp, the Mcgurks, Jordan Palin to name a few. Think only Flint is 16. So yes a huge step up for them in next year or 2. IF it does go to one big league next year I hope they keep minimum one youngster at reserve for all teams. For their progression I’d like to see number 7s in the top flight all youngsters. And heat 8 protected as well, that way they get 2 races with their opposite number. Bring back the 2 point minimum average for top flight and include the kids at 7. We can all see how the Poles push their next generation. Guaranteed to stay at reserve as well. The only way clubs will invest in youth. The better clubs will cream the best kids but you only have to look at the best Polish teams who have 2 power packed reserves. The richest clubs will pay for the best kids, which is fine in my books If it means we put in a structure for the future. And not simply for a year quick fix.
  6. There are lots FB if we are to go to bringing back young reserves. Next year there will be even more who are really exciting.
  7. I’m not sure if it was ever confirmed and or ditched. Certainly was mentioned. However nothing surprises me with the governing body #makeitupasyougoalong
  8. Iversen should be minimum 8 seeing as he is a GP rider again, that was the supposed ruling last year. Assuming it’s still the same?
  9. Quite possibly! Although with him only riding in the UK you would think he would be more than happy!
  10. Yet EVERY top flight club have agreed to host a round. I fail to see any valid reason why one club can withdraw when all clubs face a potential dip in crowds. I’m sure the cost to get in is much smaller than usual and hopefully someone can confirm this?
  11. Nicholls was on fire everywhere before joining the Panthers, it’s all very puzzling.
  12. I’m not sure there is anything to debate anyway! Any team that can make a signing within the averages would be foolish not to tho. You would have to be foolish to sign a rider that’s even worse than the rider they are replacing. (Although let’s not mention Summers for Cook or Aarnio for Wells!)
  13. May have may not have. All immaterial. Wolves made a change because the averages allowed. Let’s hope that the move does rescue our season.
  14. Poole aren’t exactly know for pushing the next generation of British kids anyway!
  15. And the crowd went wild! Well, the Wolves section did! Ah fair enough!
  16. Nobody did BB, even Poole fans like Shovlar said this was a write off with a weakened team.
  17. I was there in 2009 when we came away with a win. The same night Michael Jackson died.
  18. Got to agree Peterborough over the years has been one of the best tracks in the country.
  19. If the Wolves can’t get 4 points from this match then they have no business being in the play off hunt. Absolutely vital away win 40-50
  20. I didn’t say he pulled out at Poole tho, just that he probably aggravated it on the night. Why Poole are taking a risk on him again tho is barmy.
  21. They can prepare their track however they like! It’s called home advantage. Puzzled as to the struggle to turn bike bit. Are you referring to Kings Lynn? Where the home riders had no problems turning the bike you mean?
  22. Well Poole are the ones with a history of calling meetings off because of missing riders citing ‘damage to business’. Surprisingly haven’t seen another team do it yet but maybe Ipswich will do the same.
