And got Swindon a point for it too!

Good for the boys to get back to winning ways. Tho letting Swindon take away a point is costly. Away wins needed now.

Gavan makes many good points about Poole, the trouble is some see any type of criticism as an ‘attack’ on the club or are ‘hating’. Which is not the case at all. No club/track/promotion are above criticism. No one club does everything by the book and Poole most certainly don’t. To ask for examples (as I know what’s coming) is blinkered in the extreme. Poole will be in the top 4, I don’t doubt that for a minute.

Ayres seems to be having a breakthru season and can ride Wolves well. That’s a nice plus for the Robins. Douglas gets to make his debut riding at number 2, Howarth drops to reserve. Wolves need to start settling down if we have any hope of chipping away at the top 4. Any victory would be a welcome start.

When big ruts appear with a press of the foot it has not been rectified. I just hope the racing and safety is nothing like it was when the cameras were last there. Poole used to be one of my favourite tracks to watch racing on when it used to be great. -

And? Holes don’t suddenly appear when a foot presses into them!! Poole is a superb race track, or used to be. The state of the base is a huge issue until rectified. -

The point being if that’s true then they have easily found a hole that is STILL there, undeniable proof! -

It’s pretty clear that the work done to the track is no different to what has been done previously in the past. Quick rush job to paper over the cracks - quite literally. How anyone can defend this is plain crazy. Until this track has had major work to it in the winter it will always be dangerous and a risk for riders. Whether the racing has improved is irrelevant to the safety of the circuit. I wasn’t there last night which is obvious but when Josh says it was a racing incident with no intent then intend to believe his word. He is the one involved. Some supporters only see what they want to see tho. -

How about the Profumo affair? That was rather scandalous -

I imagine there is a curfew at most tracks! I’m sure Poole have one. Its been said that all parties agreed to this curfew of 10.15. If as you seem to be suggesting that why would the Aces agree to it then I’m sure someone like Lemon would be saying so now. Im not sure how anyone can read anything into what heat it was called at because when it restarted neither team would know how many heats they could fit in. Races were run thru quickly after the restart also. It seems clear all parties, including the Aces management, fully agreed to call it at 10.15. For whatever reason that was because matches have gone past 10.15pm in Poole before now so 10.15 wasn’t there usual curfew time. -

But it was apparently agreed during the break in action with all parties whatever the score at 10.15. No one would know what the score would be at 10.15 or who would be in front?? -

I’d pretty much agree with that. Maybe that’s his level now or he will untap the next level as he has been a slow burner. -

A well know protester of all things ruining speedway has posted this and you can sure it’s true. However Poole won’t have had to update their curfew with the council so I’m not really sure what this proves because it proves nothing. -
Poole certainly didn’t!

It was Co-codamol that was prescribed.
