  1. Aaah you’re making me all sentimental 99. missed you too.
  2. That we know of, we know the governing body change/add/amend rules as they see fit. Had the pleasure of watching Bacon weekly the past few years. I can honestly say he has made huge steps this year. With it being just over 3 point riders in reserve it would depend how many similar standard riders there are going to be to see if he is likely to be outclassed. Easily the best 3 pointer there is and well worth a shot in the top flight. Priorities lie on him getting a championship place tho now, he is too good for the NL now. Sweden managed it a few seasons ago and whilst I agree 8 should be the minimum it was a very open league in 2018. just to add its great to see the Panthers back where they belong. Looking forward to travelling to the Showground next year again now.
  3. 5.79 premiership average 2017 6.17 championship average 2017
  4. That is good news for those that want to employ better riders.
  5. It was all nonsense. Rules that were rules then not rules then ignored conveniently! Lets hope we don’t have anything similar for 2019 although my guess would be it’s very possible!
  6. I agree, his last average of 7.32 should still be valid. Why not? The 2 Poles from Poole were signed on averages from the same time (not Woryna) so it would appear that it’s perfectly acceptable. Unless of course it’s another rule change. There was. What was Vaculik’s starting average for Leicester?
  7. Would have to be his 2017 average if you take precedent set by other clubs using outdated averages. However it’s the BSPA, so it could be anything.
  8. One of the most overrated riders over here in recent history. Unless he is in a reserve berth he would struggle to match that average imho.
  9. Very true. I looked 2 days ago and assumed they would be there as well. Either waiting for ratification at the AGM or being held back for some other motive in the planning.
  10. Odd indeed. Why would any club race the same night as Sweden?? Unless they have just changed the night of the talk in. Mysterious!
  11. That wasn’t the one was referring to but that puts a different slant on it then.
  12. I’ve not seen anything from Lindgren confirming this, other than a fan saying that’s what he told them. If Freddie was to come back it would be with Wolves anyway, never shown an interest to want away from his only British club. would be great to have Freddie back racing in the UK tho.
  13. This certainly seems the rumour, however his interview in this weeks Speedway Star indicates differently.
  14. Birmingham Mail, Sutton Observer weekly columns.
  15. He mentioned Leicester above the line up however I can see I got it wrong. i don’t believe it’s a crime yet.
  16. Watched Pontus quite a bit in the Swedish matches this year and would be worth a punt. He would keep his old average if we use the Woryna situation this season. He has improved massively yet kept an outdated average, see no reason why the same wouldn’t apply next season for Pontus, unless of course teams vote against it to stop Wolves.
  17. As a fantasy team it’s decent, but the chances of Leicester signing those 4 Wolves riders is remote to non existent. It’s British Speedway, of course they will mess up the rules as per usual.
  18. Piotr looked nailed on in 2018 for Poole until the ridiculous assessed 9 rule that seemed to have quickly been ignored ruled him out. Hopefully on his 7.15 average he will be back at Wolves
  19. More than happy to add that to my Press reporting CV. However I think he and those involved are doing an excellent job promoting Speedway in the UK, something the Promoting body could learn a lot from.
  20. Which Pawlicki did you mean? both have valid averages under 8 if we are using the Woryna scenario.
  21. And the way British Speedway has treated a British multi World Champion? Despicable. Dont blame Tai one bit.
