2019 Confirmed Teams - Premiership
stevebrum replied to ZagarRacing's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
There is already a thread at the top of the page. -
Be interesting to see his scores then, how many times did he ride Monmore? I can’t remember him struggling after his debut. My mind must be getting fuzzy!
-
Don’t recall what stinker you are referring to at Wolves? i remember his debut at Monmore and it took him 6 laps to work out the best lines. Then he was majestic after that.
-
Comedy gold by the multi aliased one. Quit attacking the poster, it’s against forum rules you bully. sorry you have to suffer it posting nonsense.
-
Have you not read the post from Phil multi alias?? Stop trolling and stick to topic. Reported too. One sick individual.
-
The majority of riders would I’d imagine. Although some riders are more loyal to clubs and vice versa.
-
Cher did sing a song called bang bang as well.
-
Gavan is by far not the worst disliked poster on here at all. There are way more candidates that fill that role with much more ease. Gavan makes many reasonable and sensible posts. Some posters do have serious issues with some others on here! Still, each to their own!
-
In truth form in Oz means little. Tungate and Masters have been recent champions! Lidsey however is the exciting one that should make the difference. Looking forward to watching him. Fricke made good progress last season. I expect something similar this season too.
-
That’s the part of his problem. He already on record saying he couldn’t afford better equipment so unless that changes in winter he won’t improve that starting average.
-
If he had done more than 2 meetings maybe!
-
The D is silent so I think he pronounces correct!
-
It’s been posted umpteen times, Kildemand has already ruled out the UK.
-
Not at Wolves last year he wasn’t!
-
Think he had a tough season throughout Europe last season so he can only be better this season. Starting off lower down the order should see him improve by half a point at least I reckon. Wolves have had a fair few testimonials over the last 10 years and I agree loyalty is a rare breed these days. I like the look of this team. Robins are real dark horses to me too. In fairness the Oz championships prove nothing as Tungate has been champion. Lidsey will be great to watch next year I reckon,
-
Yes, was changed for the new season. minimum 3 point achieved average from 2018 for top flight.
-
Thanks STR. Good luck to the Robins too. Masters has made some decent progress the past 3 seasons, whether he has plateaued tho remains to be seen. He has established himself as a decent top flight rider and improved year on year. Not sure If he will reach the heights of GP status but then no one thought Doyle would either 5 years ago so if he wants it bad enough I wouldn’t be surprised. He is just as likely as Kurtz/Holder/Fricke imho although of course they have age and expected ability on their side.

^^^^^^^^^^^^ is it still banging on about nonsense? Another thread ruined by the worst forum abuser. Who mocks someone whose mother has passed away. Sadly it knows no limits. Each to there own. Hopefully I’ll log in tomorrow and we might have our Wolves thread back.
-
She died September 2017, you must be very happy.
-
Yet more tripe from the worst forum poster who calls people ‘handicapped’ and compares someone to an undatables TV programme (about people with special needs and handicaps). Some people really do think it’s ok to mock the handicapped and think it’s a joke to call people handicapped. Some people really do have a sick sense of humour. However it’s a Wolves thread and we all know he loves to troll me and Wolves threads. Another thread ruined by the worst forum abuser not that I’m surprised by the multi aliased one.
-
Likewise.
-
Yet has ridden in more GP’s than Fricke! Lets see what both bring to the table in 2019 anyway.
-
Don’t get me wrong he improved a lot this year, but similar to Morris last year who had the support of Doyle as well. Wether he is ready to be a true number one I’m not convinced on yet. Masters spent time riding at 1 and 5 as well as 4. Ive already said Id put Fricke a shade ahead of Masters and as he is younger it’s expected he will go on to bigger and better things. Obviously i disagree that they are ‘not even in the same postcode’ because they clearly are imho. That I guess is what opinions are all about. More than happy with Masters at Wolves however.
-
In fairness, Holder hasn’t ridden as a number one yet so jury is out for me that he is a number one quality just yet.
-
Disagree that Fricke is ahead of Masters ‘by the proverbial mile’. Masters is 8.11 and Fricke 8.20 in the top flight UK. Fricke is probably a bit ahead in Europe I’d agree but there pretty much similar standard here, As the averages suggest is a pretty reasonable thought process.
