  1. Happy to take the love and support from those who provided then kick them when it suits. He always was and still is an odious character.
  2. Seems like he has learned nothing. He really never knows how to keep his mouth shut. What a pathetic comment to make
  3. Blue tints worn if anyone remembers all the racing in days gone by as better and closer! The only difference between now and then is that they raced in front of much healthier crowds. The top class riders still finished way ahead of the lesser lights.
  4. Adams has to rate as one of the greatest team managers of all time with his success for Wolves and Cradley. Hasnt he been in the corner of 3 world champions, with Woffy being the most recent?
  5. Let’s hope Nick is ok after pulling out of yesterday’s Ben Fund after 2 races. Last thing we need is another injury worry.
  6. Gutted to hear about the injury to Jacob and Scott is the most predictable and obvious replacement. shame it wasn’t someone like Woffy, Piotr, Niels or Kildemand but I doubt they were even considered. Scott is a fairly decent replacement however others have commented that he is a track specialist at Monmore, he WAS but hasn’t been a force at Monmore for a good couple of seasons now. Get well soon Jacob!
  7. Ah I see, I’d imagine a club one would be too expensive at a guess.
  8. There is an App , it’s called total speedway. I have it on my IPad
  9. Wolves do have the strongest top 4 indeed. i agree that Swindon have the strongest top 3 by the way, just pointing out they aren’t as way ahead as you stated. matters not one jot what riders do abroad, the averages are for what they achieved in UK racing. And figures show the top 3 of Wolves isn’t way behind as you indicated. otherwise I agree.
  10. Starting his rehab in Poland Sunday so I’d imagine he will be pretty ready to go come the start of the season.
  11. It was auntie Doris who suggested Wolves 2017, so best try not fabricating things either. i know you have dismissed my pick (you know the one that aunt doris made, strangely not quoting that one tho) likewise I have dismissed your authority on who deserves MOST unfortunate. Any team being discussed in this thread belongs there. Just because you decide they don’t is of no importance.
  12. It won’t matter because Bwitcher has already declared only one team deserves the MOST unfortunate team. So no other option is valid. meanwhile its good to read other versions of teams that suffered misfortune over the years. I don’t believe either that teams from the play off era can’t be compared to teams prior the era. An unlucky team is an unlucky team. One could argue that Mildenhall were ‘unfortunate’ that there were play offs in 2018 having been unbeaten all season long and then lost one rider after another when it mattered. Its all about opinions anyway so it’s good to read other view points. Wolves 93 may well be the most unfortunate team in history , depends on your viewpoint - thankfully.
  13. If the thread was titled most unlucky team ever you might have a point. Its not the definitive most unlucky team ever thread, maybe set one up to prove your point. There are many examples of unfortunate teams throughout the years, as evidenced on this thread. All are valid reasons.
  14. In my living memory the team of 98 for Ippo was the strongest I can remember. Only other team I can remember close to that would be one of the Cradley teams of the 80’s.
  15. It was just my opinion that I agreed with the poster. I didn’t say that it was the definitive answer to the topic.
  16. Woryna was given a ridiculously outdated average to come back on but new assessed seems an even trickier one to even try to get right. Woryna finished 6.36 to show his outdated average was just that.
  17. No surprise that Tungate is announced at Peterborough, think most on here expected it. Weakens the Panthers imho.
  18. It’s amazing how weak our league is these days yet a class rider like Iversen really struggled. Obviously was struggling with his shoulder injury but it goes to show nothing is certain in this league. Yes, Bjerre should be one of the top 5 riders with ease this season. Time will tell.
  19. Everyone assumed that of Iversen last year.
  20. Any team would be worried if they were possibly getting Tungate as a genuine heat leader. He has proven time and again he isn’t any better than a poor 3rd heat leader.
