Rugby team played there about ten years ago, but didn't like it, as pitch already too narrow.
They now play at Olympic Legacy Park, so no chance of them wanting to return.
To me, it's showing no consideration to the fans who wanted to go to this match.
Also seems inconsistent with the Phil Morris statement about cancelling two rounds of the pairs, to get the league finished, before the play offs are due to start.
Only Belle Vue not scheduled to race this Thursday so limited choice of guest, especially with Becker's average reduction.
If they go with r/r, does the average reduction still come in to effect, as this would affect who is eligible to take his rides?
With the reduction in the number of teams, I believe a merger between the top two leagues is inevitable. Would have to be a championship level standard, due to affordability issues with some clubs.
Probably means this year could be the last time we will see the likes of Bewley, Doyle,Sayfitdinov, Holder etc.
Also, usually pubs near housing estates. Most speedway noise would be before 10pm. Most noise at pub chucking out time likely to be when people want to sleep.
Simple really.
Scott Nichols was not a member of the club but rode for them.
He then joined them but did not ride for them.
Has now left the club but will be back riding for them.
