Anything of interest come up at last night's STAARS meeting?

Good question. Slightly more relevant, any ideas who the last signing will be, and when do we get the fixtures list.

Should cut down on the rain offs.

Couldn't have been too Sunny then.

If he was appearing at the local Fiesta club, Freddie Starr would often be at Sheffield. Would usually do the "half time draw", and keep us all amused until the racing re-started.

With the Premiership Junior League to follow?

Early the year after, I believe.

July 2020.

Don't know, but would guess at Thursday 16th. Seems to have been switched to third Thursday of month.

The outcome?

Out of curiosity, how many league matches did Eurosport show?. Suspect it was less than the 18 originally promised.

Is that a clue? Weston super Mare?

David Bellego.

Could also depend on the possibility of the top two leagues joining together.

The Searchers? Searching for more wins?

Howarth withdrawn from match in Edinburgh.

If Sheffield are going to make changes to accommodate Jack and Tai, would the following fit? 1 Jack 2 Kyle or Lewis 3 Woffy 4 Picko 5 Tobi 6 Boughen 7 Edwards. Strong top 5, Edwards probably the best RS available at this time, Boughen a bit inexperienced at this level, but may be able to produce a few good rides.

It says he had the backing of top trials rider Peter Fletcher who owned a motorcycle business in Leeds.

Just read in a book about Sheffield Tigers, that the first ever sponsored rider was Arnold Haley.

Bengt Larsson at Sheffield?

There have been precedents for fielding teams when suitable guests not available. On one occasion in 2017, Sheffield had four unavailable riders, and the only guest, of any reasonable standard available was Lewis Kerr. Blair Smith and Kev Whelan, made up the team, but failed to score. And what an amazing outcome. Despite the weakened team, Sheffield came back from 12 down to win by 5. Maybe Kings Lynn gave up too easily.

Or don't like the amounts on his cheque book.
