No mention of a Junior League or Number 8s, in this year's AGM statement. Presumably the Junior League has been scrapped (or at least it would be if it had ever been properly implemented. But are we going to have number 8s? Not heard of any team signing one.

Does Adam Ellis average fit?. I did a rough calculation, and thought it was slightly over. I'm no expert so could be wrong.

I believe you can have more than one from the rising star list, but only class one as your rising star. The other (s) just get included in the team, using their average.

Don't remember all the criteria for a rising star, but think being under 25 at start of season could be one of them. Brennan could have too high average to qualify.

Glad a date has been set for this, and that it is at Sheffield. Bit concerned about what the Sheffield team will be, in view of the recent issues with the availability of Musielak, Howarth, Kerr and Ellis. Hope we see a full Tigers team for this one.

What are the current options for this? Stage the final leg at at Sheffield in November? Stage the final leg at a neutral track sometime? Award it to Sheffield as they are currently leading, and likely to win? Award it to Kings Lynn, for Sheffield being unable to complete the fixture? Quietly forget about it, and hope nobody notices? Announce it will not be completed and take the criticism? Finish it next year? Any other ideas?

Disappointed that we are not having a pairs round. Have to say that, given the choice, would rather have the pairs on the 24th at Owlerton, and move the Ipswich match elsewhere. Anyone think the same?

The pairs match at Sheffield on 24th, October, is not happening, at least not on this date, they are now scheduled to ride the outstanding Ipswich fixture.

Not too many free nights before November. Only premiership free night is Monday 31st October. This, I believe is the day after a stock cars meeting, as is Monday 24th, so can't help feeling Sheffield are pushing their luck.

Would Ipswich not stay on 38 points if last? Suspect that the Sheffield round won't happen. If so, why not announce it now?
