As I was thinking of going to this match thought I would look up admission prices on Scunthorpe website. All I can find is they still have not decided the price for last year's National league matches. http://scunthorpe-speedway.com/?page_id=15341

Looking at the averages as per BSPL, I fail to see how the Steelers would be under the limit, prior to the Foord/Roynon change. Now the change is made, I presume Foord will not be racing tomorrow (Friday 18th April), as his championship team Workington, are at Edinburgh 7.30, same day, and it would be impossible for him to do both. So after all this, still do not know Steelers team for tomorrow.

According to latest BSPL declared riders, Adam Roynon is no longer in the team. Replaced by Vinnie Foord, and Luke Harris has 4.00 average. Only question I now have, is why was this information held back? Any idea anyone 😁.

For any fans thinking of going, and wanting hot food, please take sandwiches, just in case there is no Cook available 😀

In which case the Berwick management could say "we have tried on numerous occasions to contact Cook, but are unable to get a reply".

Can you pay by card at Scunthorpe? Can any locals tell me if the M181 will be fully open this weekend? (believe it may have been closed, or lane closures last weekend). Thanks

Maybe, if I remember correctly, the points limit was changed last year, last minute, to allow a certain rider to get a team place.

Very disappointing that no official confirmation is on club website , and just checked BSPL website for declared riders, which still shows Muff in the team. With it being posted yesterday,was it an April fool prank?

Do you know the correct averages, and does Ablitt for Muff fit? The Facebook post does imply that there was some leeway with the averages.

Just seen on Facebook that Nathan Ablitt will replace Luke Muff. Makes a stronger team, but would have thought it takes them over the points limit. Anyone have any further information on this?

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the rule was, that as Tai has not yet ridden, we can use a guest up to 75% of his average (and if correct would mean Chris Harris eligible).

Was thinking of coming to Scunthorpe for CLRC and the Redcar match. Just seen some news about M181 being closed (I know this is this weekend), and then some lane closures. Can any locals tell me if this affects the route to Scunthorpe, coming via M1. Thanks
