Personally, I have always had the view that team with most points wins, but the powers that be followed the football crowd and instigated the Playoffs. It is what it is, until the British Speedway hierarchy change the format. Hope you Diamonds come back to the league soon.

Why don't we just call the League Champions the team who get the most league points. Playoffs can just be a little tournament to keep interest in the top teams until season ends. Is that just too easy for all to comprehend?

Not as fast gated as us, we were half way down the A19 when he passed us! Lawson and Allen underperformed. Lambo and Wright were pants as expected. The only bright note was an excellent performance from our two reserves. Lets face it, in all probability Poole will wipe the floor against Scorpions or, Bears whichever team turns out to be 6th.

Well we made that look easy! Were we good or, Berwick( apart from Bomber) poor? Probably a bit of both , but a good team performance all round for the Scorpions. All we need is home performances to replicate on our travels to Redcar and Berwick. I think the move to the EWR for Wright , Rowe and Roynon will give them the confidence to move up a gear and kick on. The race to sixth place is still wide open. Amazing to see Zaine Kennedy walking around the track after his massive crash too!!!
