  1. Think the rules have changed for new foreigners. I think they can't go below 4 at all. I also think the 4.00 ave is only for team average. If we want to replace him after his 4h 4a we can only replace him with his actual average.
  2. Even I can't see the Stars dropping points to Rye House. Emphatic home win. Lose to this team then even the most enthusiastic will surely have doubts about the remainder of the season.
  3. Charles Wright is on a 6.36 average. Need to let 2 go to fit him in.
  4. So, it's confirmed that the football will only be shown in the bar and not on the big screen. Certainly cannot watch both sports from inside the bar. An epic fail.
  5. I think the fixed race night requires at least another season before we throw in the towel. Maybe add in an extra day? Monday, Thursday and Friday. Each club has to run a minimum of 4 fixtures on each of those days so it give every club the opportunity to figure out what is the best night for racing in 2020. Would this also work from 2019? All teams in the Premiership have to be assembled by 1st March. After then, all Premiership clubs have to sign 3 National League riders as squad members. If 1 team member is missing an NL rider comes in at reserve and the other rider's move up a position. If 2 rider's are missing a guest is allowed for the highest average rider and NL squad member. If 3 rider's are missing, a guest is allowed for the highest average rider and 2 NL squad member etc etc. The only way to avoid using NL rider's is to redeclared with a new rider for injured or sack team members. It may be totally nonsensical, I don't know. Certainly would hand an advantage to clubs running NL side's. I just feel it would be better to run meetings with 7 rider's and without R/R as it can drag meetings out.
  6. If Rye House get close, we deserve bottom of the league.
  7. Although we sit bottom of the table I see the Stars having no problem hitting 60 past "Dad's Army". England to win 4-0 so thrashings all round Monday night.
  8. I don't think Cook's career is damaged, he'll just know and understand his level. Premiership & Championship in the UK with 2nd or 3rd tier in Poland. Make as much money as possible out of that. I think Cook should try and get a gig in Germany too, don't think Sweden & Denmark will entertain him.
  9. Looking at the line-up, Lambert is more than capable for top 3. It may be a step to far for GP's in 2019 but he'd certainly learn a hell of a lot more from that experience. Far more than not being in it. I certainly hope he get through
  10. Holder has done nothing for King's Lynn. His Mr Bigtime attitude didn't go down well with many, the way he was influenced other rider's in the team with night's out on the p!$$ didn't go unnoticed either on the terraces.
  11. Iversen has done enough over the years to earn a bit of slack. This year though, Iversen's probably happy to just pick up a bit of extra pocket money from British Speedway.
  12. What do you think as a fan watching bikes bounce around the track?? What the rider's think is irrelevant as they're being paid. The sport needs to attract fans, not rider's opinions. To watch that every week I'd rather go to Alton Towers and enjoy the rollercoasters myself.
  13. Doesn't look as though the track improvements have improved much. Seeing bikes bounce around the track is horrendous.
  14. Without Lambert the team is and has been $#!+. Go back through the seasons meetings he's single handily kept us in meetings. He's averaging 9.46 this season. The next best average is Iversen with 6.60 then Kerr 6.30. The team is performing as 1 heatleader, 3 2nd strings, 2 reserves and a wobbling Dane. If people are happy for that to carry on, fair enough.
  15. Poole clearly on the up, heading for that pre-season predicted Play-Off place. King's Lynn on the slide to the pre-season predicted wooden spoon
  16. 1. Iversen 9.04 2. Starke 5.08 3. Proctor 5.50 4. Kerr 5.52 5. Lambert 7.71 6. Auty 4.68 7. Manzerez 4.46 Redeclare, problems solved
  17. After last year I can't see how the promotion can be trusted, they haven't done a very good job so far in 2018 to change that either. So far in 2018, any issues that arise always is someone else's fault. Picking 4 Dane's on a Wednesday race night is the Stars management fault, end of. Palm Toft and Andersen were announced in their Danish clubs fixtures, yet on Tuesday the Stars add Palm Toft to the line-up. Who's to blame? The Stars management obviously. The Stars management have yet again promised that the Danish rider's won't be missing any more meetings. That is nonsense. If these Danish clubs pick up injuries our rider's WILL be recalled. The Stars management need to stop playing games with the supporters, they have 2 options. Just admit they'll have to deal with the challenges for the remainder of the season or change the rider's. To say they've had been promised that these rider's won't be missing any more meetings is nigh on ridiculous and naive.
  18. I just don't get why the management are so slow with these clashes when we knew Monday. Abysmal way of running the club personally. With regards to the future promise, isn't that what was given before yet Danish clubs (rightly so) are still picking their rider's. Personally, apart from Iversen the other Danes are replaceable and should be so and then we would be able to move on with a tight knitted team.
  19. Kasper Andersen is also scheduled for Wednesday for GSK Liga. Guests required for Palm Toft and Andersen.
  20. Haven't filled in a programme for 10+ years. Apart from the scorecard it's pages of adverts. Waste of a couple of quid.
  21. Doesn't the best rider just come down to opinion. Belle Vue fans will say Collins, King's Lynn fans are likely to say Lee, Wolves fans say Woffinden etc etc. For me I can't compare riders from many year gone by as I've never seen or remember them riding. Certainly since I've started watching Speedway (1989) Tai Woffinden by far is the greatest ever British rider of all time. That's my opinion, it can't be right or wrong, it's just an opinion
