  1. Confusing seeing races with 2 red helmet colours. I know it's only practice but still...
  2. I do think there is interest with this being Craig's first time as a GP rider. It well known he suffers from depression too so if things fail in Poland and a poor GP showing it could see him throw it all in. Last season he went AWOL with his issues. There will be fears things could become to much for him and affect his position with Belle Vue.
  3. Not true, Kildermand's average is below Holder's so Holder can come back until the new greensheets. Unless Poole's team average goes above 42.50 and Kildermand's average remains the same or goes down Holder can come back in at any point. There is no 28 day facility granted. Kildermand (although employed short term) is a full time Poole rider as per greensheets.
  4. I think that promoters have started to take notice of fans and riders. Fans have now become fed up with being mugged for part raced meetings, wasting fuel to not even start a meeting. Rider's less willing these days unless conditions are almost perfect. Also clubs can't afford to throw money at the riders expenses for a ran off. GRW may need to get use to early call off's in mordern Speedway, it may just be the right thing going forward but I also agree with his fear towards the end of the season. Will we have no choice but to put up with double headers due to a new early call off policy??
  5. He never said he did Just saying that they shouldn't be shot down before they've got started until everything is known about Godden's intention.
  6. Could this weekend prove to be troublesome for some clubs? Substantial amounts of extra ££'s lost compared to the regular meetings in a season.
  7. From the pictures they look pretty good. The one that Kerr's wearing reminds me a bit of the crazy football shirts of the 90's
  8. Pic: On bike is Rory taking one for the team, 2 to nosh, 4 ready to bosh. Wolverhampton are looking to add extra revenue to the 2018 season. During the season when there is a rain off Wolves will be doing their bit for the LGBT and provide adult content online. Those wishing to view, sign up will be required @ www.lgbt-wolvesspeedway.com
  9. To be fair you can see why questions are being asked. Only 5 from 12 Danish fixtures don't clash with the Stars calendar. At the same time though I do believe even the Dane only have to agree to 4 league matches plus play-offs (something like that), so Lambert being missing from Stars fixtures shouldn't be a worry at all.
  10. That's the thing, I was super excited about the team and the season ahead in 2017 so purchased my first ever season ticket. Things that happened after that day v Poole at home left a very bitter taste in my mouth, so much so I didn't see every meeting after that. I now don't have any idea if I'm going to pass the entrance gate at King's Lynn at all this season. The once burning light has been totally extinguished for the King's Lynn Stars. I still enjoy this forum and thing's about King's Lynn Stars but that may qell be it. Watch Speedway on TV, follow updates site and social media, probably go to Cardiff but I just don't feel Buster Chapman deserves any of my money in 2018.
  11. With how crap things where at King's Lynn last season I gave up going even though I had season ticket. Saved about £60-£70 fuel not going
  12. Could King's Lynn have been awkward as a sponsor and said he added nothing to the sport, was a nuisance so had to sack him?
  13. Not writing him off Stevebrum, first meeting or not he bottled it every time someone came close, not a good sign for Wolverhampton. We've seen it many many times with rider's coming back from serious injury, they're slow to get back any confidence and form and probably best not to sign for at least 12 months
  14. Thorssell clearly ain't mentally ready for competitive racing, very nervous when anyone is close and moves over or shuts off the gas.
  15. Think Wolves will be in trouble early season as Thorssell shown today in the best pairs he's not interested in wheel to wheel racing. Anyone gets close he's moving over or shutting off. On a track like Wolves you can't help but be forced into close racing.
  16. If people don't like Screamy and Shouty then the option is to mute or don't watch. The broadcaster need to make it appealing to the masses and not the few (us actual Speedway fans). This is something the BSPA get wrong in just trying to appeal to the few and still get it wrong.
  17. Another club anthem, this time Depeche Mode - Just Can't Get Enough When I watch the King's Lynn Stars I go out of my head As I just can't get enough As I just can't get enough All the things you do to me I'll be with you until I'm dead I just can't get enough I just can't get enough We're the King's Lynn Stars, we'll always love And I just can't seem to get enough of Do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do Hear come the opposition They think they have us beat They don't realise their team is duff And I just can't laugh enough When they watch our King's Lynn Stars They know they'll be well beat And I just can't get enough And I just can't get enough We're the King's Lynn Stars, we'll always love And I just can't seem to get enough of Do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do
  18. Hokey Cokey He'll put his front wheel, His rear wheel out, In out, in out, his opposition fall about, He's a real winner that's without a doubt And that's what speedway's all about. Ohhh, it's Robert Lambert Ohhh, it's Robert Lambert Ohhh, it's Robert Lambert His knees bent, arms stretched He loves the KING'S LYNN STARS
  19. To the tune of Agadoo Ander-sen-sen-sen, he's better than Rick-ard-sson, Ander-sen-sen-sen, He’s our reserve magician, riding left riding right through middle he'll win all night, so Matt Ford, He is ours, so shove ya cheque book up your ar$€
  20. Bored this morning so I thought I'd knock this up. To the tune of Kylie Minogue's "can't get you out my head". Also picked this as it has a local attachment to it as the song was written by singer songwriter Cathy Dennis from Norwich. I just can't get you out of my head, The King's Lynn Stars is all I think about. Rivals can't get us out of their head, We're on a 5-1, there is never doubt. I just can't get it out of my head, Seeing Fat Maud crying his eye's out. I just can't get you out of my head, The King's Lynn Stars win is without a doubt. Every week Every race We come here to cheer on the Stars We'll win all day Home and away Stars forever and ever and ever
  21. To create a decent club chant you have to have stick it to the club rivals, be it the locals in Peterborough, Ipswich or league rivals like Leicester, Rye House & or the horrors in Poole and Fat Maud. Doesn't need swearing (although sometimes preferable as it does make people interested and take notice)
  22. Why couldn't it?? Beinf British is irrelevant, what relevant is the person behind the 'Stars Anthem' need to hang for totally embarrassing the club further
  23. The incompetence of the BSPA / SCB is evident, already 4 amendments to the 2018 rulebook
  24. Tony Rickardsson is THE greatest of all time. Wish I could be their to see him turn a wheel again. Hope his races appear online after, hopefully he isn't just a shadow of his former self.
  25. I'd love nothing more than singing on the terraces but never ever ask anyone from Norfolk to think up a chant. Just look at Norwich City, they love 'On The Ball City'. I can't think of a more dreary football chant anywhere in the World.
