  1. I suppose I should have added what I believe are his 2 biggest failures are imo. 1. Was the simplification of the rule book but what we're actually getting is a more confused and weekly amended one 2. The Premiership had a nailed on £1000's league sponsor that he promised
  2. I'm not against 1 big league, I just can't see who it could be a successful structure. Unlike Shovlar though, it would be so much better racing against a variety of teams once a season rather than the same teams 2 or 3 times a season.
  3. Struggling against rider's he should be beating too, could be the meeting that rules him out the Speedway of Nations.
  4. Really?? We could probably build teams to start the season, that's no problem. The issue is rider's get injured, how 1 big league could deal with that? Rider's riding abroad, how 1 big league could deal with that? There will be clubs crippled financially by being around the bottom of the league. I think the best idea that some have mentioned is North - South divisions.
  5. Surely you're not implying average manipulation? Noooooo, never happen How very dare youuuuu.
  6. Since taking over as BSPA Chairman he made a promise that at the end of his first 3 years we'd notice significant (positive) changes. For me personally I was a massive advocate of his, he couldn't do much wrong. May be I've just changed, I don't know but in these last 3 seasons I think he's been a massive failure for club and country. Totally and utterly lost touch with the people and listens to the few? Is British Speedway any better now than 2015? What's has Chapman done that's improved Speedway?
  7. Since taking over as Chairman he's been an absolute failure. That's not me saying that's the opinion of other teams supporters as we'll now see
  8. That would place British Speedway into an even bigger shambles imo as the best of British fly out to Poland for treble the dough.
  9. This whole thing can be rectified very easily in 2019. The Premiership runs on Monday & Thursday. Redcar, Ipswich and Sheffield can also keep their Thursday night but in doing so they lose the priority of rider's signed to Premiership clubs where a fixture takes place on a Thursday. Sorted
  10. Not quite true, we have 4 home fixtures on the Monday to test the water
  11. It's an absolutely ridiculous situation but there's no chance of King's Lynn cancelling. They wouldn't cancel the Leicester meeting knowing the oppositions 2 best rider's were missing. The Lynn management knows this is an excellent opportunity to bag 4 away points. It ain't a given but the chances are much greater than if Belle Vue have a full team. It's all that is wrong with Speedway, all about taking advantage of others misfortune.
  12. Heeps and Howarth are big concerns. Will be a massive concern to the management I'm sure once Heeps goes to reserve and Morris moves into the top 5. It would be totally wrong and unfair on Morris, doing really well but still should be down at reserve. I wouldn't be surprised with the backward thinking of Peter Adams that Morris would be the one to get the chop after a couple of low scores at 2nd string.
  13. Shouldn't it be?? Star Performer : Stefan Nielsen Most Improved : Stefan Nielsen Must do better : ALL OF THEM EXCEPT STEFAN NIELSEN AND RICHIE WORRALL!!
  14. The reason I found it funny is that Leicester found suitable replacements for every hurdle whereas Lynn found it such a problem and put the blame on Cookie, unfairly imo. As so happened Lynn ended up with the better deal which was unexpected. Nobody would of had Auty down for paid 11 which is better than Iversen's form so far.
  15. Thanks, that does sound a half decent meeting compared to ianb. Maybe (hopefully) it'll be one of those seasons where it doesn't matter whose in or out of the side the results will come. This team seems to be clicking way better than last season. Maybe these team training camps are delivering the difference to winning and losing.
  16. There's absolutely NO reason what so ever for Ipswich and Redcar to demand they run Thursday's. They own their stadiums and have nothing else going on in the week. They could easily transfer their night's to a Wednesday.
  17. King's Lynn Star Performer - Robert Lambert Most Improved - Ty Proctor/Lewis Kerr Must do better - Kasper Andersen
  18. I'd question the accuracy of that too as he also had a bit of a stab at the none attendees
  19. Was gonna go to this as it's only about an hour from me. As it's guests again (although not the Stars) will sit this one out. Guests will be difficult for Belle Vue as there's 2 other fixtures on that night with Leicester v Wolverhampton & Swindon v Rye House.
  20. I totally agree but you get some saying brilliant night and others saying barely a pass all night. As a none attendee I'm still interested in accurate reporting.
  21. No thanks, retired spectator. Will go if the Stars make any finals or my daughter wants to go on the Monday fixtures but that'll be about it. Just interested on accurate accounting of events. After all what's gone on it seems Stars fans have been hamming up the night and digging at us none attendees. It seems as though the number through the gate spoke volumes though.
  22. There's 2 versions of last night. Stars fans on Twitter are shouting great night and putting down the people that didn't attend. On here it was poor racing and dragged on forever. Which is the correct version? Did I miss something or nothing?
  23. Where are the rider's to come from on those days? Friday - Sunday is Poland, GP's, SEC all qualifiers etc. Wednesday's are Denmark. Monday - Thursday are the best days all round.
  24. Cook can be top draw on his day but can also be so bad as shown in the GP. I think the pick is easy for Rosco. It has to be Woffy, Lambert, Bewley. Lambert and Bewley have both just gone to another level so far this season. It all depends if Rossco is strong enough to make that phone call to a GP rider in Cook and say "you're not in".
