  1. Woffinden being out injured has been a blessing for GB. Had he been in, Lambert would have been at No3 and would have been missing for 2 rides. We'd be where Poland are with Woffy in.
  2. Absolutely nobody would of had the Pole's to perform that bad. Think Australia have it in the bag barring one of them dropping it.
  3. This meeting is absolutely wide open for anyone to win it. Can't put a stamp on anyone, Germany have been very good so far.
  4. That isn't one of them. If everyone gates pretty even, what is the only option for a rider on the outside? He had a massive, unchallenged hole to ride through, nothing special. Let's see how Gating Tart gets on when he has to bang some handlebars like a proper racer
  5. Yep, gated and made a cut back through a massive gap. Well done Gating Tart
  6. Pretty embarrassing turnout. Well done Belle Vue in out pricing the average fan. This weekend has probably just crippled the club very heavily
  7. Obviously, it would be very odd if the bike had a straight mudguard
  8. Many years ago Ipswich meant everything to me - to absolutely HATE WITH A PASSION. The stand up rows with opposition fans home and away were great fun, friendly aggressive banter I'd call it Unfortunately, those days have long gone in Speedway. The fierecness in a local derby just doesn't exist and it's a great shame. Definitely adds to any atmosphere
  9. Good to know, so we're clear. Birmingham have just signed plain old 'run of the mill' Lindgren??
  10. so because Lambert is an asset he's not marquee. Max Fricke Jack Holder It's irrelevant when they sign, they've signed. So we're straight, you can only be a marquee signing if you start the season & you must be foreign??
  11. I'm waiting to giggle at who you call a marquee signing in 2024 if Robert Lambert hasn't been one of them over the last 2/3 years.
  12. So, you're saying Robert Lambert isn't a marquee rider in this generation??
  13. Urrrm, is this something to shout about?? Apart from their clear fascism and racism what else would a vote for them be for??
  14. Another good and very important win for King's Lynn tonight. An absolute must win delivered. Is the top 4 chase on with 3 home meetings in hand vs Oxford's home and 2 on Leicester's.
  15. So you think people buying a 300k+ home will be happy to have a Speedway track on their doorstep. Now, come on. Be realistic
  16. Did it, which bit?? Can't remember seeing the Truckfest organisers part of the campaign
  17. You've missed the point. Apart from Speedway, who else is in the fight against AEPG?? You can have a 100 million protest signatures from Speedway fans but it has zero effect with councils eventually. Speedway alone will not keep the sport at Peterborough alive. The other businesses have to be involved and the immediate local communities affected by the new build. AEPG legally cannot be forced to find new land and/or be ordered to dip their hands in their pockets and help pay for it. Everyone can be as angry as they like of course, but there's absolutely no way of winning this one.
  18. Eventually, patience runs out. I was once one of those 'Happy Clappers' so it's not a poor choice of words. Never had a bad word to say, travelled home and away year in year out. Only when Jonathan Chapman left the deterioration was massively noticeable with every passing year. 2017 absolutely shattered the Camel's back. Once JC left, within a season or two, we should have returned to the 2nd tier.
  19. They do have a point though. 1000 spectators, once a fortnight, over a 7 month period, on a 164 acre site could be seen a selfish. Which other former site business is also in this fight to survive?? You'll never win standing alone.
  20. Hold on though, don't you think Peterborough fans have a right to feel bitter towards Buster?? Swindon fans feel bitter towards their owners, so do Rye House, Reading etc. They've been duped in to thinking there's a future and it then never materialise. Currently happening to King's Lynn, there is absolutely nothing being talked about regards running in 2025. King's Lynn fans are asleep to it. Can't wait to see what the happy clappers opinions are if the doors close. That genuinely would be 100% on Buster as the cause.
  21. Was it interviews or were they just nagging?
  22. Currently, King's Lynn Speedway's curtains do close in September but the fans are sleeping on it. As for a buyer, I'm not convinced as they'd still have to work with Buster. Last season only lasted half a season with a new promoter remember.
