  1. You know the answer to that. Not saying anything critical of Nicholls or the clubs. Just, the financial backing of these 2 clubs is suffocating the league.
  2. Correct, King's Lynn wouldn't exist. The club has become an embarrassment to the league. At the same time, every club & those responsible for the BSPL have to take some of the responsibility. This country is not in a fit state to run a top division with GP riders at a competitive level. Sheffield & Ipswich are only able because of Guy Nicholls of TruPlant. These 2 clubs ain't necessarily run well, just well financed and are actually suffocating British Speedway. There should be 1 big league.
  3. Who pays those Cardiff prices?? Buy the £20 tickets then move to the lower tiers after 4 heats, nobody checks
  4. It's a failing goal. The general public are not paying the prices Belle Vue are asking. An SGP there would be farcical if Cardiff is also running.
  5. Whose paying those prices for a GP though? Cardiff tickets are going for £20-£45 in far better surroundings. Can't see Belle Vue offering that kind of value?
  6. 1400 at £70 to cover that cost I'd be shocked if Belle Vue came out of this week in profit.
  7. Bloody panicking now, the chances of having 2 great national sporting days running are very slim
  8. Brilliant, absolutely fantastic Who doesn't love seeing Aussie's pig sick
  9. Woffinden being out injured has been a blessing for GB. Had he been in, Lambert would have been at No3 and would have been missing for 2 rides. We'd be where Poland are with Woffy in.
  10. Absolutely nobody would of had the Pole's to perform that bad. Think Australia have it in the bag barring one of them dropping it.
  11. This meeting is absolutely wide open for anyone to win it. Can't put a stamp on anyone, Germany have been very good so far.
  12. That isn't one of them. If everyone gates pretty even, what is the only option for a rider on the outside? He had a massive, unchallenged hole to ride through, nothing special. Let's see how Gating Tart gets on when he has to bang some handlebars like a proper racer
  13. Yep, gated and made a cut back through a massive gap. Well done Gating Tart
  14. Pretty embarrassing turnout. Well done Belle Vue in out pricing the average fan. This weekend has probably just crippled the club very heavily
  15. Obviously, it would be very odd if the bike had a straight mudguard
  16. Many years ago Ipswich meant everything to me - to absolutely HATE WITH A PASSION. The stand up rows with opposition fans home and away were great fun, friendly aggressive banter I'd call it Unfortunately, those days have long gone in Speedway. The fierecness in a local derby just doesn't exist and it's a great shame. Definitely adds to any atmosphere
  17. Good to know, so we're clear. Birmingham have just signed plain old 'run of the mill' Lindgren??
  18. so because Lambert is an asset he's not marquee. Max Fricke Jack Holder It's irrelevant when they sign, they've signed. So we're straight, you can only be a marquee signing if you start the season & you must be foreign??
  19. I'm waiting to giggle at who you call a marquee signing in 2024 if Robert Lambert hasn't been one of them over the last 2/3 years.
  20. So, you're saying Robert Lambert isn't a marquee rider in this generation??
