  1. If we somehow miraculously made the play-offs we need to be careful who we use as EDR guests. Remember, you can only use 1 rider 4 times so Morris I'd not use for that reason. I see absolutely no harm in throwing in a Josh Bailey, Nathan Greaves, Jake Knight etc. Going very well in the NL and I'd certainly give them a shot at it
  2. Regardless of your views, that is a bloody good idea
  3. Bringing Rory in for Mads was an obvious move. We're in the poop at reserve though and that's the concern. S.Lambert is going to be a big big miss
  4. Absolutely agree Couldn't agree more with Robert's statement at all.
  5. Definitely think Nicholls is riding himself out the team recently. Thing is, once you've picked Tai, Cook & Lambert I think the riders for the last spot are all 'much of a muchness'. I'm leaning towards Steve Worrall though now Woffinden Cook Lambert S.Worrall Bates/Ellis
  6. That's another thread, absolutely nothing to do with Woffy why the sports in a mess.
  7. I can ask him You turned into a nervous wreck all of a sudden? We've been getting the big 'I am' for weeks now and all of a sudden you want all the questions asked by other people
  8. Get your questions in robert72, Woffy's waiting https://www.facebook.com/hookitproducts/photos/a.501318573257254.1073741828.477663478956097/1022216891167417/?type=1&theater
  9. Ohhhhhhhhh yes he has......... The Aussie tattoo & how it should be lasered off and replaced with a British one. Until then he's showing no commitment to GB. That's right in'it Rob72 huh huh huh. Right in'i in'i huh huh huh Plus the not singing and chatting over the National Anthem (that I can't at all be assed to sing myself because it's sh!+) huh huh huh Bloody plastic Brit
  10. And just to add, there's still plenty of SWC tickets on sale. No excuse robert72
  11. Absolutely, you're just seeing a number. When you see who he was up against in his heats he should of had more than 1 race win (his 1st ride in heat 3).
  12. If we're still running an EL next season I still say Monday/Thursday as a lot of Danes will be ruled out from a fixed Wednesday race night in the UK. Personally I'm against a single fixed racenight idea simply because of the Landlord potential problems but, I'd knock certain race days on the head ie Tuesday's, Friday's (except Good Friday), Saturday's and Sunday's. I'd have it so each club is only permitted to race 1 home 1 away fixture per week at all times, giving better scheduling for riders to work with. That would also be the case with rain offs too
  13. It does matter. Speedway shouldn't be happy with 'just able to survive' mentality. The sport is suffering badly from poor lazy promoters, abysmal track preparation, awful stadiums. All adding to poor attedances. Glasgow have shown what can be done and their model should be looked into.
  14. So, Woffy will have made 1 extra appearance than McIlroy on British shores. King's Lynn (Wroclaw) Cardiff (SGP) Belle Vue (SWC) So what's the problem
  15. I'd seen him ride at King's Lynn in March thanks with Wroclaw. Everyone had the chance to come and say hi and congratulations to the new British World Champion
  16. Great idea in principle but most fans after heat 15 just want to get home
  17. 11+1 looks good but I thought Harris was poor last night considering the riders he was up against in his heats. Top rider's should never get beaten by Sedgmen and he did twice
  18. A rider that looks to have improved and is an asset but doesn't currently ride for the Young Stars might be worth a shot in Jake Knight?? No worse option than a Josh Bailey / Tom Stokes imo
  19. That's how it works for all sports. It's up to the others to get better.
  20. We have a bit of a problem in trying to strengthen though, we're already 1.71 above the averages so wholesale changes just ain't possible Think it's obvious 1 change will be Schlein for Korneliussen The other could/should be the Busk Jakobsen position but that only leaves us with 4.15 or less to play with. There's just nobody about who'd be an improvement on that. A different D/U rider would have to be 6.91 or less from the Premier League. Or, you're then looking for a rider that didn't ride in the Polish, Danish, Swedish leagues in 2015 that is 'supposedly better than Jakobsen. Quite frankly, we're in the deep brown stuff & there's no real way out of it
  21. Did we offer any value to this meeting or were we as bad as the 11 heats suggest?
