  1. Correct on both counts It is unfair, I now feel he was only signed as a safe guard that keeps Huckenbeck as No'8. We have no intention of using Jakobsen clearly. Another rule loophole.
  2. I know it's completely within the rules but Jakobsen was signed as one of our top 5. I just think if teams are running squads they should be made to use them if there's no reason for a missing rider.
  3. Correct, it was. I meant the Lindgren guest oops. Still the same, the rules don't allow a guest for Holder with clashing fixtures abroad
  4. I've just spent hour of my life reading the regs and it's clear as mud. Poole shouldn't of had a facility (R/R) for Holder. Something sinks here
  5. Stars look to extend Iversen's stay http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/king_s_lynn_stars_in_talks_to_extend_stay_of_niels_kristian_iversen_1_4507043?utm_medium=twitter&utm_source=twitterfeed
  6. Agreed, another absolute annoyance is the double points for the home side.
  7. I've just been to the toilet, think I have constipation. Can anyone help?
  8. Just read the Stars press release & I'm at a loss as I can't see how we're allowed to run R/R for Schlein I can't see a clash of fixtures for Jakobsen (unless he's racing in Europe somewhere?) so surely he should be in and Huckenbeck for Schlein as our No'8. Surely if a team can run a full 7 they should be made too?
  9. Although the format is shockingly awful I do think the FTR's will learn a lot more about what they need to push on from scoring 0's. Constantly banging in double figure scores from reserve will get them nowhere except false hope.
  10. I wasn't that keen on the Golden Double. I much prefer the standard Tactical Substitute from the tapes i.e. Polish rules. No double bubble at all but I suppose it's not cost affective in the current EL. Isn't it in Poland if you're more than 6 behind you can make the tactical 3 times but not with the same rider?
  11. You should elaborate as your edit makes no sense?
  12. The 3rd episode of the podcast is now live http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/home-straight-speedway-podcast
  13. It once was but massively now isn't the best racing track, you won't see riders swapping places to often. Stay at home & watch it on the box I say
  14. I'm one of the 5%. The results don't overly matter, winning is just a plus. I've actually become bored with the FTG's, slick track, lack of passing, abysmal atmosphere etc etc. 1 good race a meeting is getting difficult to justify £17
  15. Agree, I'll be watching from home & that will be the 3rd meeting in a row I've not attended. Not missing it at all
  16. I am a woffy fan and agree with why he won't ride over here. I was being sarcastic with the line-up Not a stalker though, it's not my fault he doesn't have a blind in his bathroom window is it
  17. Seeing as the Leicester thread is a little boring (understandably low interest imo) maybe this may stir a few more up. Should be fairly decent box viewing Guestermate looking line-up's King's Lynn 1. Niels K Iversen 2. Mads Korneliussen 3. Robert Lambert 4. Nicolaj Busk Jakobsen 5. Scott Nicholls 6. Carl Wilkinson 7. Lewis Rose Poole 1. Hans Andersen 2. Krzysztof Buczkowski 3. Chris Holder 4. Brady Kurtz 5. Bjarne Pedersen 6. Adam Ellis 7. Josh Bates (G)
  18. He'd have a cracking line-up though with all his mates Tai Woffinden Chris Holder Jason Doyle Troy Batchelor Rory Schlein Dave Watt Todd Kurtz Brady Kurtz Max Fricke Aaron Summers Sam Masters Nick Morris Josh Grajczonek Justin Sedgmen Rohan Tungate Jack Holder
  19. 4 weeks ago?!? 4 WEEKS AGO?!?!? how sh!+ is your track curator for goodness sake. That is inexcusable
  20. You've misunderstood what Mr Watson had said. If a none EDR is at reserve it's ANY guest up to that rider's average. If an EDR is in the 1-5 only an EDR can replace him as guest. You'll only ever have 2 EDR's in 1 team
  21. I know people say there should be a wall around Norfolk but won't need a visa to watch Norwich City, may need some jabs though
