  1. 8 clear of Belle Vue with the same meetings run + 2 home fixtures with Leicester for us makes it tough work for Belle Vue to then pass us in the league tables IMO.
  2. I think we're pretty safe for top 4 but not necessarily 3rd. Same meetings run as Belle Vue with 8 points clear. We've 2 home fixture yet with Leicester which pretty much guarantee another 6 points
  3. And it could be said that if Porsing & Lambert had delivered a few more expected points it could easily been a comfortable away win. After tonight, I'm not sure Coventry will be to sure on who to pick for the Play-Offs if they get that choice.
  4. 😂😂😂 are you sure you was there? I think you've misunderstood seeing some passing as being out of control. Leicester fans can make that mistake so I'll let you off 👍
  5. The time is irrelevant. All 4 rider's were racing. No wobbling, all 4 completely under control. This was off because Leicester knew no matter the result of heat 10 they'd leave with nothing.
  6. Absolute disgrace from Leicester. Rider safety was never in danger at the time the 2 mins went on. 3 rider's were out ready for the running of heat 11 except for Doyle And it should have been run
  7. I don't believe there's any previous between Nielsen and Roynon, I think it's just a case that Roynon's been on the receiving end of so many big crashes he's just toughened up to the situations as being part and parcel of racing or he just doesn't deal to all with crashes mentally. Many rider's avoid going over and seeing injured riders for varying reasons so I don't think Roynon should be criticised for that.
  8. I certainly enjoyed tonight's meeting. Some good racing with various racing lines. Iversen was absolute class tonight, making absolutely shocking starts in every heat but picked riders off with some great moves. Milik, Lambert & Porsing all battled hard for there points. Man, Bjerre is frustrating. 8+1 is absolutely more like it in terms of points return but tonight should easily of had double figures. If anyone shows him a wheel he backs out, twice tonight. Allowed Zagar through to easily in heat 6 but more importantly, in a critical heat 14 pretty much waved Cook round when leading with ease. Roynon, the lads nuts but I like him. Some good riding and with all he's been through wasn't frightened to get mixed up. Delivered the best interview of the season. When asked about his good start to tonight and guesting replied "love this track. I'm riding for Redcar in the Premier League but I absolutely hate it. It's great to get guest bookings at the bigger tracks like here. It's one of the best, even if it has tried to kill me a couple of times". Also like to add, the track. Again, another slick track offering which has provided much better entertainment to the masses. There lies the hidden Saddlebow secret. Buster, great turn around in track prep but maybe a slick track is what's required more often to provide the entertainment?!?
  9. Maybe I was a little OTT with the replacements but it was an example that those guys would give everything to the cause. As every week goes by I'm just becoming more and more angry and frustrated with this team and management. I expected a fair bit more passion from in our 50th year, it just doesn't seem to be being delivered. With the performances of Bjerre this season he will get the brunt of the frustration as in this current EL he should be knocking in double figures regularly rather than once a month.
  10. Someone with big balls, like a dirty Ryan Fisher or a Stars loving Kevin Doolan. At least they'll show something, passion. Totally not in Bjerre's tool box. Both will have lower averages too which will allow the opportunity to find a real heatleader along side Iversen with a re declaration of the team.
  11. Spin doctor, they are gonna get beat by the same riders due to the heat format, completely irrelevant. The fact all you need to know is Bjerre only beat an opposition rider in heat 14. That, at the end of the day is sh!te.
  12. Great to have the Kenneth Bjerre we all know and love back tonight There's definitely a love in with Bjerre from the management, giving Bjerre the fookin tac ride instead of Milik. He just can't seem to do no wrong. I'm comprehensively mystified
  13. I'm still going just to be entertained by FTG.
  14. Not so sure now, if your boys make a gate you might be ok. 50-42 I'll go for
  15. Well, they're our 2 best racers out. A meeting full of FTG on the cards then.
  16. The interest in this one will be massive. So much so, who've we got the following week?
  17. Maybe Ward isn't much liked as a person but you just can't help admire Ward the rider. To be out the game and come back at a point when his opposition are up at the peak of fitness is pretty good I will be the first to applaud
  18. One meeting and they lost. Darcy being excluded in heat 13 while on a 5-1 was costly in getting a point if anyone wants to knit pick. So your asking Swindon fans to thank Darcy for losing them the meeting?
  19. Unfortunately, and I do mean that, it's what comes with employing Ward. You gonna have to start taking grief on the chin. 1. Swindon win, cheats, you fiddled the averages to fit Ward in 2. Swindon lose, good, you fiddled the averages to fit Ward in Swindon fans, put ya blinkers on and roll with it or your threads will be just overtaken by nonsense
  20. I know these engines are only in prototype stage and are being tested but as they've been used a few times now is it time to start picking holes. For me it is and the most obvious point to pick out coincides with Bomber's statement. He had said that one of the reasons for not using the engine is it wasn't set to his riding style. 1. I was under the impression these will be 'Off The Shelf' engines? 2. Isn't that called tuning, something I thought the engine was designed to get away from?
  21. Think to many people get fixated by the lack of passing for the lead. Thing is, speedway's always been like that. There was bags full of passing in the minor placings, some of it brilliant. All motor sports are pretty much the same, the guy out front clears off in the distance. Very enjoyable GP imo
  22. Really, Leicester & Swindon won't increase their attendance after cheap tickets. Lakeside did a meeting on Sky for a £5 a few seasons back didn't they? Worked well didn't it?!? King's Lynn's attendances barely get affected by Sky meetings so why should we reduce the cost exactly? What is the point apart from clubs losing money?
  23. Really, take it Swindon & Leicester will be absolutely rammed when the pricing goes back up?
