Coventry Bees V King's Lynn 25th May 2015
Daniel Smith replied to mdmc82's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
We're desperate to have Lambert & Kerr in. Even with just 1 of those missing we're in trouble and only a slaughtering is inevitable -
Wolves V King's Lynn Monday 18th May

Think Wolves will come through in the end -
Belle Vue Aces -v Poole "cheats" Pirates
Daniel Smith replied to Phil The Ace's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Maybe it's just me but I'm guessing and I mean massively guessing, Janowski has done enough to get his average above 8.70 so Poole don't want him travelling to a track he doesn't go well at to save his June average. Janowski will now be out until the return of Darcy Ward -

Stars V Wolves - Wed 13 May
Daniel Smith replied to pointsmeanplayoffs's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Can only agree, it does seem people are becoming happy with the follow the leader racing so it's just us not overly enjoying it. To me, last night's FTG racing wasn't enjoyable at all. -
Stars V Wolves - Wed 13 May
Daniel Smith replied to pointsmeanplayoffs's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
For me, the meeting was only enjoyable when Lambert was on track. Other than that it was pretty much FTG all night yet again. Surprised Lambert didn't get the nod in heat 15 -

We'll win the SWC this year fella, you heard it here 1st. Poland & Denmark are on the slide. GB are coming back to the big time -

Has there been a rule change on Danish fixtures? Previously it had to be a PL 3 pointer as guests or something like that? -

And the points they've got are against rider's of no pedigree. Very poor -
Speedway World Cup Team Gb Squad
Daniel Smith replied to Gavan's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
The way he performed the World Speedway League meeting the other week, it would be criminal not to include him if we get past the qualifier at King's Lynn. There are no Brits except Harris & Woffy better than him right now (excluding Nicholls as he's not interested). -
King's Lynn V Coventry 29th April
Daniel Smith replied to mdmc82's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Could not agree more. 1 Worldy race in heat 15, 2 ok races and the rest were crap. Heart 15 showed it's capabilities of being world class track are still there but for some reason or other it's not delivering. It's like Leicester, a drag race to turn 1 -

Another crap race meeting tonight. -

With you there. Just like the team, I too am lacking confidence in this septet. We would have been stuffed by Swindon at home had Kildermand and Batchelor been available. Andersen and Bomber (for his own team) hold as much threat and should out do a dreadful Bjerre comfortably I agree, but in terms of a guest Tom Stokes would be your best option IMO round King's Lynn -

Personally, as a guest for Coventry I wouldn't look past Tom Stokes. This lad is flying round the NA right now. Clegg and Greenwood are unpredictable but at the end of the day any tier 2 rider is likely to only get 3 rides -
Belle Vue Aces Vs Kings Lynn Stars 27.4.2015
Daniel Smith replied to Barrycuda's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Can not disagree with any of that. We've not hit 40 points in any way meetings so far this season and had Swindon had their own heatleaders we'd love been beaten at home. I've a complete lack of confidence for Wednesday against a strong Coventry side -
Think it's shown with tonight's sky meeting that Belle Vue got their required points early on and fell asleep, almost allowing King's Lynn back in to a point.

Speedway Champions League ?
Daniel Smith replied to PolskiZuzel's topic in International World of Speedway
It has been confirmed by Marc Gent that a Stars top was issued but he refused to wear it. I'd guess it would have something to do with the fact the meeting was in Poland so he couldn't afford to cover his sponsors maybe? Cant blame him for that. -

Just read the regulations for SWC and it is 100% based on nationality and not the licence -

Speedway Champions League ?
Daniel Smith replied to PolskiZuzel's topic in International World of Speedway
Although I still don't agree with the principles of this competition I'm proud of how we performed. Certainly didn't disgrace ourselves against sides that were supposed to be far superior. The only let down (not for the 1st time this season either) was Bjerre. A supposedly world class rider was horrendous. Completely lost any competitive bottle. Robert Lambert, genuine British star on the rise. Has to be in the World Cup. To go to Poland up against that class of rider for the 1st time was absolutely sensational
