  1. Add me, add me, add me I'll have the half pound cheese & bacon burger, cheesy chips & a large diet coke Pitstop Cafe for 6.45pm please Absolute shame Garrity is missing. Was so looking forward to seeing what all the hype was about. But, with R/R I can't see the Young Stars being to much trouble for Belle Vue. A very strong NL side. 38-52
  2. I forgot about that. Atrocious decision but what do you expect with Barbara Horley as referee.
  3. OK, OK. The racing was a terrible entertainment. Everything else was absolutely perfect
  4. I think that was a terrible night's entertainment. Nothing happened just FTG after FTG. A full on bore-fest. What is very disappointing is watching Jake Knight going further & further backwards by the week. Can't gate, can't pass and no track craft. Time & time again he tries to ride the fence, never looking to go down the inside. Very frustrating. Positives, Only Lewis Kerr from last night for the home team (should have been in heat 15 without doubt). I so hope this kid can make it as he does look the part. Seem to get quicker as the night went on.
  5. 1, Joonas Kylmäkorpi 2, Leon Madsen 3, Dave Watt Krzysztof Buczkowski
  6. Do these meetings get good support from the locals??? Are the riders any good???
  7. To be fair to the Poles this GP is billed as the 'FIM Torun Speedway Grand Prix of Poland' as is 'FIM Gorzow Speedway Grand Prix of Poland' I think, if they want non nationals allocated to GP's the naming of a GP is important. Maybe go with 'FIM Continental Speedway Grand Prix' or something similar. We have Scandinavian, European & Nordic so a Continental GP would be more accurate to allow an Aussie, American, New Zealand, African rider into a GP
  8. unbelievable decision by the ref there. Emily clearly to blame
  9. Who will be the No'1 now Kyle Hughes is out injured??????
  10. Any line-up's, live streams, updates etc available for this anywhere????????
  11. Back off Topic. You're wrong there. Emil will become an asset of Coventry's if he completes 12 matches as he's now on a full contract. He was originally on a short term to cover for Hans who as he's now fit has been released.
  12. What on earth do you do to spend £1k in 3 days in Cardiff. Me & the Mrs normally get through £300-£400 that weekend including hotel & tickets????????
  13. I honestly do now like the joker although I'd call it something else. In reality it can only give a team an extra 3 points for a win but it's much much more than that. Take what happened to Poland after Gollob went out and smashed it. It gives riders a lift, inspires the team to go on and turn the meeting around. A genuine buzz comes in. It's all a mental thing but it works. Had Gollob won the race under normal circumstances Australia could have gone on to win the meeting with ease but that little 'pick me up' Joker ride from Gollob made all the difference. It made a difference to me too, we certainly wouldn't of had all that excitement right up to heat 24 that's for sure without it.
  14. Sky+'d this last night so the question has to be Is it worth watching?????????
  15. that's just killed any minor chance we had left and Nicholls
  16. Can't argue with that but you should always go with the strongest team available and Bridger isn't even in the top 10 of choices
  17. that's Bridger's last ride & international career completed. Stead or King should have been in, they're miles better than that
  18. credit were credit is due, great ride from Barker. Brilliant fella. Get in!!!!!!!
  19. 6 from 9 wasn't great considering his first race finished with 2 riders. His second ride picked up a point because Lukas fell & was excluded from the re-run and in his last gets a win because the Pole Kolodziej couldn't be bothered and Darkin retired. So all in all the easiest 6 out of 9 he'll ever get.
  20. long night here tonight. Exclusions, slide offs & crashes. Riders struggling to turn their bikes as the track os way way way to grippy for this level of racing. Very fortunate to not have serious injuries at thru moment. We're only on heat 4
  21. KKS is right yet again. He certainly does show some people up for a 15 year old Sorry, couldn't help myself to that one
