  1. Nope, we'll be back for 2012 don't you worry. We're just a BSPA play thing for 2011.
  2. Buster said the same thing so you just never know. One thing for sure is that TT can still do a job in that league.
  3. I have started an King's Lynn 2011 EL thread to get the ball rolling. As far as I'm concerned with both our promotion & the BSPA releasing statements both Monday @ 12pm and the fact our promotion hasn't denied any of the speculation when they could of yesterday it is quite clearly a done deal. So, I'll see you all in the EL section
  4. It certainly looks that we are Elite League now. So, we're now going to be the BSPA's scapegoat and EL whipping boys so they can hang on to the Sky money. Brilliant
  5. Me too. A guaranteed 7 points a season against that pile of cack
  6. That numpty happened to be Coventry's press officer
  7. It isn't obvious at all. The radio interview stats that we're going EL regardless whether Peterborough & Coventry are in or out of the EL
  8. You miss understand Peterborough = EL King's Lynn = PL King's Lynn reserves = NL All at the Norfolk Arena The BSPA run Peterborough & use the Norfolk Arena as the venue because it works out cheaper in rental costs for all party's. It wouldn't be at the showground because Frost holds the rental agreement but would be suspended by the BSPA.
  9. The Council fronted up around £130k for the development itself.
  10. I'm not sure we'd suddenly enjoy it at all. It will be the same old story, King's Lynn in the top league = bottom of the table. In the EL at the moment I think we could only compete financially with Eastbourne & Belle Vue.
  11. Let me get one thing straight here. I'd love EL speedway back at Lynn & if we are I'll be there week in week out but many others won't. We get told time & time again that EL speedway isn't viable for King's Lynn and over the last year only Poole has made any money in the EL. Why now all of a sudden is it right for us to be in the EL when we've been approved for PL & drawn Somerset in the cup. What I think is the BSPA NEED 8 clubs to secure their Sky money so they've cook up a super strong Kipper so King's Lynn can get done up like one
  12. Just a thought Could it be possible that EL speedway WILL be at King's Lynn but under Peterborough's name??????????? The reason I say this is that, if the Peterborough promotion do pull out and it get all legal the BSPA may run the club but the landlords at the Showground rental costs could be out of their reach and Buster has offer a helping hand. Thought's?????
  13. I fear for our survival. If we go EL we're finished. We get a lot of floating supporters at the NA and all that will concern them is the price to get in, not whether it's EL or PL. Increased admission will be the end of us.
  14. The question has to be, if the money on the table to take Birmingham & supposedly King's Lynn into the EL is so good, why wasn't it offered to Ipswich???? And if it was and they've still come down, to me that says a lot that the BSPA are trying to pull the wool over the PL promoters. Peterborough, Coventry, Poole & Wolverhampton will always be the top dogs in the EL & all they'll be doing is making sure it stays that way. Those 4 teams don't give a monkeys about any other club in that league and they just constantly try to point score over each other.
  15. I'm not sure that is good news. I'm sure some of the supporters will have questions. After all the hard work to bring them back I certainly fear for their future. Massive gamble
  16. What would be interesting is that you guy pay £15-£16 to watch PL racing at the moment. If you do go EL what would be the cost for that????????
  17. When do the squads have to be announced by??????
  18. He changed all his equipment from Jawa to GM. The set up is completely different. Add into that his injuries, it will take time to get back to his best & at the end of the season he was.
  19. Riders over paid???? You have to be kidding right. If a heatleaders on £80 per point and averages 9.5 for 33 matches they just scrape over £25,000 a season. That is peanuts when you start counting the costs of buy equipment & servicing. I personally thing they should be earning twice that but there isn't enough people coming through the turnstiles to justify it.
  20. Having a think as to next years side and I think it going to be a very cheap side as all the money has been laid out on having Bjerre in the team with hope on improvement (average 2011 +/-) 1, Topinka 7.64 (+1.5) 2, Roynon 3.85 (+2.00) 3, Smith 6.23 (+1.00) 4, Schramm 6.21 (+1.00) 5, Bjerre 7.00 (-1.00) 6, Mallett 3.80 (+1.5) 7, Lambert 3.47 (+2.00) 8, Knight 3.00 Total Average 38.20 (46.2)
  21. Bad example. Darcy Ward was an asset to the club and we made a few grand out of that sale. When your a feeder club for the EL the least you should expect is a loan fee to be paid in. We can't alway blame the BSPA for everything. The Bjerre's & Peterborough knew the situation. Lasse only needs 1 more league meeting and then he becomes an asset. The Bjerre's could have said like Darcy Ward that King's Lynn is the club that has given him the chance so he'll stay signed to us. Darcy can be an idiot and I'm not his biggest fan at all but he made sure we came out OK from his sale. No idea. Yep, that's a first
  22. Don't like to say it but didn't I already tell you that
