  1. Agree to a point. Nicki Pedersen is a nostalgic signing. For me, having Dan Bewley back in the league is a bigger signing. Emil is a genuine World Class signing & it's a shame imo Peterborough couldn't get the Lindgren signing over the line.
  2. Team strengths by official rolling averages. How close could it be to being accurate without injuries?? Belle Vue taking a clear advantage with Brennan's reduction, can he maintain last yesrs form? Ipswich extremely top heavy but are actually 2nd in real averages so should be a good year. Then at the other end, Peterborough's numbers are surprising, almost 2 points off top 2, will it be a tough season for them in the real world?? Questions questions, LET THE TAPES UP BEGIN 1. Belle Vue (40.27) 2. Ipswich (39.98) 3. Sheffield (39.34) 4. Leicester (38.97) 5. Wolverhampton (38.85) 6. King's Lynn (38.64) 7. Peterborough (38.31)
  3. There's so much Sayfutdinov will have to go through to get a work permit. He'll be invested as to family history i.e. Oligarch family members, any serving family members from Cold War era on, financial history etc etc. Lots of hoops
  4. He'll only be there 2 meetings maximum so not really classed a reserve
  5. One thing to our disadvantage is consistency. The whole 1-6 could score 10 or 3. Every one of them needs to score 6-7 week in week out & I can't see it compared to others. Felt confident with this team when it first came out, comparing to 2022, but now every other team is (almost) done, can't see anything but bottom.
  6. They'll need to be 10-12 up minimum by heat 10 as they'll concede 8 from heats 13 & 15
  7. The question is:- Are Ipswich cooking the season ticket books to only announce later on Emil's visa was denied?!?!?
  8. 1. Ipswich 2. Sheffield 3. Belle Vue 4. Peterborough 5. Leicester 6. Wolverhampton 7. King's Lynn
  9. The thing is for Ipswich, both Doyle & Sayfutdinov are prone to getting injured. Can go from extreme highs to serious lows in a heartbeat. The league is stronger this season so Doyle won't have the luxury of just disappearing into the distance untroubled
  10. You should have just deleted the post. Now I've clipped it up bro
  11. Gonna have to visit the Showground for Peterborough vs Ipswich. These should be belters
  12. Wolves are the new Rye House of the 2nd tier. Crap teams that always challenged with trick track advantage. Sam Masters will finish behind some No3's in the averages this season
  13. Not true though is it. "Box Office" isn't just winning races, to me it's someone who puts it all on the line when the miss the start. Lindgren & Pedersen both fit that bill
  14. Allit was TM, Lyon was promoter at the time. Lyon relinquished his role with immediate effect after that meeting I believe. Allitt then had to take on the TM & Promoter role after his recovery, in the mean time we had guest managers if my memory serves me correctly
  15. Ipswich shouldn't count their chickens just yet. The British Government are still pushing that every 'world sports governing bodies' suspend Russian & Belarusian athletes from competing. Only those that have citizenship outside of these countries pre-2019 are expected to be exempt. I'm watching this situation pretty closely & for Speedway, Emil & both Laguta's will remain suspended as they claimed citizenships in 2021/2022. There are a lot of associations pushing back & threatening sanctions against UK athletes if the British Government persist.
  16. What an absolutely disgraceful post. Kasprzak is better than all these 'Wet Wipes'.
  17. Buster's right to drop this guy. This is exactly the type of guy you'd have had & would have put your club in the s#!t mid-season. Total 'Big Time Charlie'. What a be!!end
  18. Heats 13 & 15 will be decent?? Apart from coming up against Bewley these will pretty much be dead, unless they end up racing each other
  19. Obviously a hypothetical, but could it be possible that Tomlin have been shocked by how much rider's would cost him?? All these rumoured signings then not come to fruition can't just be down to Buster. Two sides to every story. Tomlin threw in the "Big I Am" tornado & left behind total devastation
  20. I just don't get the criticism of signing Worrall. Hans Andersen's signing is way more baffling considering the team will be 2 points under the average.
  21. and we're always constantly told that Lindgren wouldn't ride for anyone else
  22. Imagine the meltdown from Wolverhampton if Lindgren signed
  23. Yes he did. Wagstaff bought the club & changed us to "The Silver Machine" & eventually drove the club bust. Buster had to buy the Speedway rights back. Being a stadium owner doesn't automatically mean you own the Speedway club.
  24. Sorry Peterborough fans but you're all being bl00dy deluded. You're basically asking Buster to hand over the club for free just because Tomlin's willing to pay all the costs. That's not how business works. This isn't on Buster. If Tomlin wants full control of Peterborough Panthers for 2023 he has to BUY the club. Not a Buster fan at all but he's 100% right to make a stand here.
