  1. I wasn't saying the racing has always been the same, merely that the track base has always been the same. Only over time the top surface has changed for the worse.
  2. The track is naturally clay based. What makes it more grippy now is that Buster buys that cheap crap stuff that is also mixed with clay. Thus when watered it turns to silt with a mix of fine stones to break the silt down.
  3. King's Lynn has never been different from day dot, the track sits on a natural clay base. That cannot be changed. For me, King's Lynn would be better off preparing the track as they did when they were running the National League team. They'd probably benefit too from not ripping the start gate up and being consistent all the way around. How the track is rider's need 2 gearings per heat, one for getting out the grippy starts and another to maintain the higher speeds needed for the rest of the track. Gating has become far to important with the ripped up starts, rider's set up for that. Miss it and you can't get the speed to chase down.
  4. Cook's getting his average down and is almost a shoe in for Belle Vue 2020. They've missed him greatly
  5. All 3 posts absolutely correct. King's Lynn as a Speedway track is still there but it most certainly isn't a Speedway racers track at all. Only big mistakes contributed to any passing. Awful meeting and certainly wouldn't encourage any stay-aways to return. Adrian Flux Arena is all about the gating, it's very very ordinary and lacks any value for money in entertainment.
  6. There may be sponsorship attachments to a certain amount of meetings on TV for King's Lynn. No meetings shown, no financial income?
  7. I take it when you knock into someone you don't apologise and tell them to watch where they're going. That's a very rude individual that does that
  8. No crystal ball required. The Belle Vue meeting will be far superior to anything served at King's Lynn regardless of opposition. The only way to make King's Lynn home matches remotely exciting is a few crashes, punch-ups and ranting and raving during interviews. As for racing it's certain FTG racing
  9. Thing is, every year we've come flying out the traps we've fell apart when it really mattered. Maybe we're attempting the opposite, try and scrape 4th and go from there.
  10. Should be his Championship average. Who did he replace?
  11. I knew you wore high heels, certainly won't discriminate, each to their own and all that
  12. Is it possible Ayers is the full time replacement for Lambert?
  13. Anyway, back to the topic of this thread please. Are ZagarRacing and ReadingRacer the same person
  14. Yes & no, if Doyle was injured your team would look like this 1. Batchelor 7.76 2. Wajiknecht 4.08 3. Ellis 6.76 4. Jensen 4.51 5. Musielak 6.41 6. Perks 3.00 7. Guest 3.00 The team just gets moved around and any guests come in at reserve. I don't think it's right that straight swap guests should be used, I'm a firm believer that a result should be determined by the teams own rider's rather than a track specialist guest that actually performs better than the replaced rider. It gives the opportunity for other riders in the team to step up. Also gives another opportunity to an up and coming rider to make an impression. Especially at home that team should have enough to not get beaten if they ride to their potential.
  15. Guests are a necessary evil. I've always said though that guest riders for Premiership should always be Championship riders with an average of 4.50 or less. Then that rider takes the No7 position and the others move up a position. R/R should only be available after a 3rd rider in the team is missing.
  16. Although Proctor and Jorgensen haven't hit the road running, wouldn't it be a risk to bin fit rider's for an injured rider?!? Both can only get better and there was an improvement in both at home, points wise. Looking at the figures, it looks like we'll see June out and depending on form Riss could come back in for Kerr and be under 42.50 from July 1st.
  17. Lambert has shown in 2 GP's he's better equipped for the series than Harris had over his whole GP career
  18. Probably be nobody has backed down, Cook will probably ride in his Glasgow suit with a Stars race jacket.
  19. Of course it isn't official yet but looks certain to happen. Cook saying he's had a phone call and the club saying a new signing after Monday is pretty much a done deal.
  20. So how I see it. Proctor and Andersen out. We'd have to go back to 42.50 team average as it'll be 2 changes as like for like isn't permitted with 2 or more changes at once. 10.39 available for changes. In comes Cook on 7.00 and Drew Kemp on 3.19. That way it'll really pee off both Peterborough and Ipswich
  21. He's definitely Buster's type of rider, especially for King's Lynn. He's cheap and he's s#!te. Perfect match
  22. Wow, find any excuses possible. It was Riss's 5th ride of the night when he crashed, made no difference what so ever. At most he'd of had 1 other ride to which had he won we'd of still lost the meeting being 12 points up. Trees, admit it, we're rubbish
  23. We're are poor poor side. Was always going to be. With Kerr and Andersen replacing Iversen and S.Lambert we were always in trouble. Simon wasn't great away but he certainly could score points at home. Not only is there poor racing at the AFA, we're struggling to get wins. With Nicholls and Bates joining the Panthers Buster has put his main club firm favourites for the wooden spoon.
  24. What a team this King's Lynn side is. Can throw away a 10 point lead with 5 heats left
  25. Buster listening to others He is the saviour you know, the god of Speedway, the only one who knows the way beyond all others Although I'm a Stars fan, he has single handedly killed my love of racing at the AFA. I'll no longer allow any of my pennies to finance his pocket. He produces the most boring racing, boring atmosphere, the most lengthy tractor racing of any other tracks in the country.
