Question for you and Sid the Robin:- What has Rosco done since being GB Manager to benefit the future of British Speedway on the international stage?!? -
Tai / Rosco - Team GB 2020

The difference between Cook and Fricke is 9 years of age. Cookie now at 32 would make a huge mistake giving up Championship Speedway. -
The main aim was over a 5yr plan, first and formost to make the sport more professional. 2nd was an attempt to bring more money in to keep the "star" men. 3rd was advertising 4th, maintaining existing supporters 5th, being attractive enough to encourage new fans. What's actually happened in the 20yrs of television is absolutely none of the above. In fact, from 1999 to today the sport in the uk has declined in horrendous fashion. Even die hards have given up and walked away, new millenia fans have come and gone. This sport in the UK is in serious need of a defibrillator

King's Lynn vs Peterborough. Thursday July 25th
Daniel Smith replied to Bald Bloke's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Buster has proved in the BT Sports Peterborough meeting the other week. Spouting they'll have the best track available for all to see in front of the cameras. What was produced was a smooth, extremely fast track. Buster even said it was a great meeting after. The man's delusional, he firmly believes faster is better. Even at King's Lynn with Iversen and Lambert together, he was producing a track so they could go out and try and break the track record. Iversen especially used to constantly look back at the scoreboard to check his race time. King's Lynn's track is still very very capable to produce quality racing, unfortunately, Buster's version of quality racing is by how fast the race times are, not the passing -
I have no problem with Cook, but as team manager surely his job would be to tell Cook to ride the white line and make rider's go round you?? Clearly no conversion was had between rider & manager. Part of the managers job would be to see how other races have been won and see what the changes in track are?? No blame towards Cook whatsoever over this weekend. All the frustration if firmly at the managers door

For me, after this weekend Rosco has to go. As a manager, he should be there to advise and manage his rider's. Everyone can see the curb was the place to be. I don't blame Craig for leaving the door open as I'm sure after his races he'd of been in his pit trying to sort stuff out and had no time to watch other races. This is where the manager comes in but clearly nothing was said. The team selection and rider availability was truly abysmally organised by Rosco as there was clearly no plan for issues. In Speedway injuries happen so to have a reliance on Harris was pathetic management.

Wait till I tell my daddy, he's much bigger than anyone else's.

Peterborough Panthers 2019
Daniel Smith replied to Flappy's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
That's not how Buster likes his tracks though. He always prepares them with even amounts of dirt inside and out with regular grading, this killing the racing lines available to only one on the inside = no passing available -
Hopefully no bricks on the track this time too for first meeting back. Good luck to Nicklas

My 7 and they all fit within the averages 1. Lindt Lindor Milk Truffles 2. Lion 3. Yorkie Duo 4. Crunchy 5. Lindt Lindor White Truffles 6. Galaxy (100g or larger only) 7. Twirl An excellent top 2 imo with a competitive middle against many other. Very strong top reserve with a good back up at No7. Bit disappointed to leave Maltesers out but if any of that team gets busted up, may be a space will appear for my old mate Maltesers later in the year.

It's not the flat you're really asking about now is it

Where has this Jorgensen sacked come from? For me, it'll be a move that doesn't make sense. It suggests that they're looking to add the points difference in the middle order where we should be looking to replace Simon. Seriously need a back-up for Kerr when he has an off night. Lambert - Cook - Riss should be a solid enough top three with Jorgensen - Palm Toft as decent back up. Reserve should where the improvement has to come from, letting Jorgensen go would be a much of a muchness move.

King's Lynn has never been different from day dot, the track sits on a natural clay base. That cannot be changed. For me, King's Lynn would be better off preparing the track as they did when they were running the National League team. They'd probably benefit too from not ripping the start gate up and being consistent all the way around. How the track is rider's need 2 gearings per heat, one for getting out the grippy starts and another to maintain the higher speeds needed for the rest of the track. Gating has become far to important with the ripped up starts, rider's set up for that. Miss it and you can't get the speed to chase down.

All 3 posts absolutely correct. King's Lynn as a Speedway track is still there but it most certainly isn't a Speedway racers track at all. Only big mistakes contributed to any passing. Awful meeting and certainly wouldn't encourage any stay-aways to return. Adrian Flux Arena is all about the gating, it's very very ordinary and lacks any value for money in entertainment.

Poole v Kings Lynn. Prem. 4/7/19
Daniel Smith replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I take it when you knock into someone you don't apologise and tell them to watch where they're going. That's a very rude individual that does that -
No crystal ball required. The Belle Vue meeting will be far superior to anything served at King's Lynn regardless of opposition. The only way to make King's Lynn home matches remotely exciting is a few crashes, punch-ups and ranting and raving during interviews. As for racing it's certain FTG racing

Thing is, every year we've come flying out the traps we've fell apart when it really mattered. Maybe we're attempting the opposite, try and scrape 4th and go from there.
