  1. Snap, until there's regular reviews of the racing improving and Keith making things a little more supporter friendly I'm out. The AFA has just become a boring place to be. Will hopefully be watching them away but only at Belle Vue, Swindon and Wolverhampton.
  2. The weather system is moving slower than predicted first thing this morning. The rain is almost guaranteed from around 1730 - 2100. Only a 30% chance of no rain. A glimmer of sunshine a couple of hours ago but now the cloud is rolling in again.
  3. He's cheaper than Simon because Kasper scores f@ all points to get paid
  4. Not quite right, I want Buster to fail. On paper King's Lynn, Ipswich and now Peterborough are the weakest 3 teams in the league. Many people also agree with that. Do you know what makes tonight worst? Even 2nd tier Leicester managed 42 points at Ipswich
  5. Anyone think this Stars team will deliver needs a reality check. Reserves abysmal and asking Kerr to deliver in the top 5 is a an ask. If Lambert has a bad day we're stuffed as proven. 1st meeting of the season or not, we've been shown up big time against the other weakest team in the league. Let the Wooden Spoon battle commence with this current septet.
  6. I'm not no Buster fan but the situation at Peterborough was caused initially by Rathbone over budgeting and Cook's sulking and greed. As for Tungate being better than a spiralling Harris is laughable. Harris is a good team player and when the chips are down he can pull something out the bag. Tungate is just one of those steady rider's nobody talks about. Beat nobody of significance against Belle Vue whereas Harris would of likely won at least one of those heats. Harris every time over Tungate.
  7. Harris, Andersen, Cook, Wilson-Dean, Wright, Bjerre, Barker = Cheap If you believe that you'll believe anything
  8. Just repeating what was said by someone else. What was said seems to be what exactly happened. Would be one hell of a coincidence if it ain't true don't you think? Buster takes over, rider's gone before a wheel turned.
  9. You was warned weeks ago about the situation. Ged was selling the club regardless. Buster was the only one to come forward and Ged sold to him. Ged signed the rider's on HIS budget but was warned by Buster that the only way Ged was keeping that team is if he could find another buyer or sponsors who could budget the team. None was found, Buster took control and rider's had to play ball within his budget or leave. Harris and Cook have chosen to leave. All in all, the blame really is with Ged for over budgeting the septet and lying to the fans. We even had Watson on here saying it was nonsense then exactly the above happened.
  10. What a laugh pressing an option on Twitter is I suppose some are easily entertained
  11. The reason I find the fan voting nonsense so tedious is it really has no bearing on the meeting. You jave a pick between the top 4 scorers. It's totally irrelevant and nullified which heat they go in. It's just a pointless exercise imo
  12. Yes it does, as highlighted above. Think you probably miss understood what Robin meant. You can't only have 3 rider's available for heat 15, that would be ridiculous. But I suppose it wouldn't have been, this is British Speedway of course
  13. With the attitude Darcy shows, I'm more than justified in why I gave no money to his fund. He really is a horror of a person
  14. Then you lose that potential exposure for being an arrogant business owner that can't see the bigger picture. If the racesuit was the same colour as your logo and pale into insignificance what would be your choice? Demand a club changes their suit colours Craig Cook in this situation is massively in the wrong, totally cutting off his nose to spite his face. He was willing to sacrifice his sponsors for more points money, how would you have felt as a sponsor if Cook turned around to you and said I'm earning more now, you're not required anymore?!?
  15. I don't think both Cook or Buster come out looking good in this, but for me, Cook more so in the wrong. As Craig was willing to sacrifice his sponsors being black & white for more points money, he just counteracts his argument. Questions have to be asked to Chapman, and probably were, why's things different for Hans? Craig does seem to have this mentality that he's some kind of Speedway Superstar. With Buster, he understands how bang average Cook is so would never pay stupid money for him. I don't think Gomolski will be a bad replacement, he's a different beast to that in 2011.
  16. The BSPA Keith Chapman Everyone's opinion of British Speedway right now (apart from the blinkered)
  17. With Buster owning 3 teams and the potential shenanigans that could go on, 14/1 for King's Lynn is by far the best bet available.
  18. Should be from the main fence structure excluding airfence. Be ridiculous from the front of the airfence as some of them are a meter thick.
  19. That's interesting as I thought any reconfigured or new track had to set the lighting a certain distance from the bends. If the lighting is set in between those two walls that looks a real h&s issue?!?
  20. Just for the Sir Alex Ferguson reference Check out @FourFourTwo’s Tweet:
  21. Nobody, it's just speculation that more effort has been put into Peterborough than King's Lynn. Maybe for Buster the stadium rent works out cheaper than running his own stadium on a Speedway night with all the water and electricity costs etc. An unrealistic maybe, but not impossible.
