Surely if a Premiership club wanted him he’d be daft not to take that opportunity at the expense of his Bullets spot? Yes he’s loyal to Berwick but surely he and they want him to progress as well as he can and I can’t imagine he is learning too much from NDL racing? Hope he gets as many rides in Poland as possible too.

Like Cook this is a real shame as he is far more talented than his average suggests. But once again if his head isn’t in the right place then best to step down. A Championship spot might be a better move. As someone has said, get a solid option in Proctor’s place and the team looks a lot better than a couple of weeks ago.

Going by the accuracy of my recent predictions then probably Or maybe it’s the old reverse psychology -
Peterborough vs kings Lynn 7/6/21

Could be close but don’t see P’boro not winning. -
Proctor failed to beat an opponent from five rides at Berwick tonight

Pleased for him that he scored well last night, was concerned that whatever affected him at Lynn might have been a wider issue with his racing mindset but obviously not. There has been lots said about the contrast in team spirit after the last two meetings so perhaps that is the crux of it but I hope he gets a team spot in the Premiership somewhere as he is too good not to have one. And of course that Lawson carries on in the same vein
-
Could do worse. Can’t see Lynn persuading him to come back then only giving him two meetings before getting rid, he’s got better in both matches and finished with a win or paid win in each. You have to take on face value that he was ill last night, would be speculating to suggest he has had enough already but I think that’s the only reason he’d leave right now.

Edinburgh v Newcastle (KO Cup) Friday 4th June
Bagpuss replied to Al Stewart's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Well done Newcastle -
Based on what?
-
Should never have got the spot in the first place.
-
Amongst the joy of snatching the win last night it mustn’t be overlooked how good Lawson’s debut was ably backed by the skipper, plus sone vital minor placings from Proctor who started with two blobs. Solid stuff from Riss & Jorgensen too. This team is a couple of signings away from being half decent, really hope the management are ruthless enough to act quickly.

Delighted to be proved wrong

Moral victory whatever happens from here If only we had a reserve.....
-
Surely this doesn’t come as any surprise?
-
Actually there was a preview so my apologies, was thrown by the heading about Lawson.
-
No preview on the Stars site to tell us either. Dear me.

The absence of Crump and Cook takes a lot of shine off the fixture too, Bewley and Holder are the two stand out names in the league but apart from them Cook and Crump are as box office as we get in the UK nowadays. Feel a bit for Bridger being chucked into the main team while Proctor dropping down may explain his non sacking.

Lynn are going to do well to hit 30 in any away fixture with the current team. Going to be a hiding!
-
And a competitive number seven.
-
Do you genuinely think Ipswich look worse than Lynn

Never mind his score, where were Bjarne’s team kevlars tonight? Was wearing the dreaded flapping team shirt instead -

Absolutely agree, but the people who run our sport are light years behind where they should be do it’s no surprise really. -

Well done Panthers, need to get the job done at home tonight to save this result going to waste though.
