Perhaps it's time for him to change his sporting career.....
-
IIRC Tungate wanted to ride here presumably for P'boro but got frustrated at how long it took the BSPA or whoever to decide on how/when/what shape the season was going g to take back in the winter/spring. Seem to remember him having a whinge about it.

Will be interesting to see how Thompson fairs tonight.

Bomber gusting for Riss, Lynn's preview also has R/R for Heeps without explanation. EDIT just read he's having a fortnight off to get his shoulder right

Hear 15 on the speedway GB site for everyone to enjoy. -
How many folk do you think exist who support/follow/attend Lynn speedway? I'd it's more than 1,999 then by definition its thousands is it not.
-
Like many of your posts that is completely OTT. Why would he or you want to punish the thousands of decent Lynn fans because of a few pillocks?

Radio Norfolk reporting this morning that Lewi Kerr has come off social media because of abuse he's been getting

I think you are right that they aren't good enough but a good team manager can drag a few extra points out of his team and that can make a difference.....Lynn arent going to finish anywhere other than bottom but some home wins would do everybody the world of good.
-
If he fits in place of Wells then absolutely.

Good to see Pickering finally getting his chance in the PL. As for Thompson, I'd have thought a PL place should be the next step in his development and it would be far better for him than the NL right now, a bit like Flint

Indeed, and it's one of the reasons it will eventually die out in the UK.

King's Lynn v Ipswich 05/07/21

There is plenty wrong at Lynn at the moment but you do go a little OTT at times. What's been good over the last four years.....well 2018 was very good and we only missed out on the title because of injuries in the Pkay Offs, we were comfortably the best team despite being tipped to finish bottom. Robert Lambert. Thomas Jorgensen. Richard Lawson. Signing Sam Hagon. All positives, far outweighed by negatives I'd agree but positives nonetheless. -
I certainly wouldn't call it cheating, I never used that word. Ultimately it comes down to the governing body and their strength/weakness, if he's not fit enough to ride then he needs signing off for X number of days/weeks so that he can't ride anywhere, or if he is declared fit (I suspect he very much isn't) then he must crack on for both of his teams. As I said having him fit for one team and not the other looks awful and really shouldn't be allowed to happen.

Some people just don't get it and probably never will, sport without integrity is absolutely pointless. Good for you, but many do and most of those I suspect don't go any more.
-
I don't think Aces fans are that bothered, they are going to qualify for the Play Offs at a canter anyway. Its more to do with integrity, you have to admit that it really doesn't look very good for a rider to be fit to ride for one team but not another. If it was a Polish team and not Plymouth there would be absolute uproar!

Shroek seems too nice to me. The team needs a foot up its arse and he's not the man for that.

King's Lynn v Ipswich 05/07/21

I think the stock car mesh isn't an issue if you are a regular, you soon get used to it. I can understand why occasional or first time visitors don't like it but it is what it is. I thought the racing was pretty good, Cook was exciting to watch as well as Jorgensen and Nicholls. I don't think it will be very good until we get rid of that awful shale but it was much better than I've seen for a few years, presumably because it was slicker. As for Covid, I'm double jabbed and would would have no issue returning to live sport, even a packed football stadium but its personal choice. -
Not for me, he was decent for Lynn twenty years ago for a couple of seasons when he was young but looking at the way he cuts up and chops across his team mates in virtually every race for his Polish team wouldn't want him in my side. He divides opinion, very much a marmite rider but whereas many would describe him as hard I think he is dirty and always has been. Happy to leave absolutely no room and assume that the opponent will shut off or back out.
