Not really, it’s a good discussion and this time of year they develop on various dormant threads.

I think there is a saying about empty vessels making the most noise? Exactly. This may very well be what it appears to say on the tin but nobody knows as the facts are sketchy. That said the situation is being inflamed by the promotion’s silence.

Why? The tweet from Louis says that the rider wants to get his affairs in order before being announced so it could easily be him.,

Not really, I’ve been on this forum since it started and if I had a pound for every time a potential major issue has cropped up which people have jumped all over without the full facts which has ultimately turned out to be a small issue or not an issue at all I’d be writing this post from somewhere much hotter. Always best in my opinion to wait and see what the full facts and circumstances are. As I said the poor communication (which is nothing new) is the main issue at the moment.

Probably best to wait and see how this pans out but at the very least communication has been inadequate about the who, when, how, why and what.

It should but ultimately those in charge will be judged on the strength of the team. It’s pretty clear they are waiting on a rider or two to make up three minds but if the team is competitive and much better on paper than last year will people really mind?

Social media definitely the best way to reach the most people nowadays but every base has to be covered ie website, newspapers, wireless. Does the West Norfolk version of the EDP not cater a bit more for the Lynn area? There certainly seems to have been more coverage of the Linnets this season.

You might be right about the newspapers in this instance (I haven’t bought one for years) but in terms of the website there were features on there about the Lewi Kerr evening on Dec 27th and Jan 6th. Not sure if anyone has yet but it would be interesting to hear from somebody who went about how many people were actually there rather than judging from a couple of photos.

It should be but what if, for example, Lambert makes a really slow start to the season and is in bad form but Wright or Cook are riding as well as they ever have done? Would be daft to not pick who is riding well at the time.

It should be Robert but form at the time has to come into it, can’t be picking riders reputation alone.
