Far too inconsistent from the gate. There is a reason he hasn’t had a permanent top flight spot for several years.

Or Wolves. I don’t think we’ll win any of them but you never know. -
I presume he thinks Poole are already in.....

Very much depends on how fit Fricke and Lambert are. If Lynn gate well we can come away something. -

Was it because of the threat of rain? I think the poor racing is a factor too.....I think people could put up with long meetings if the racing was fabulous or quick meetings with few passes if the team are winning, but long meetings with poor racing is a bad combination. -

Wouldn’t be surprised if Lynn use Aarnio again. -

Jensen was either brilliant research and scouting or a huge stroke of luck. Either way he has transformed Swindon’s season. -

Why would Barker be booked in the first place if he was then replaced by a ‘cheaper’ guest Tungate misplaced his passport according to Phil. Andersen, Proctor and Wright injured. Guests hard to come by for everybody. Garrity has form for vans breaking down so lord knows. Plus why save money by putting out a crap team with one of your teams and then potentially lose gate money as a result at one of your other tracks. Other than that I reckon you’re on to something -

Lynn need to make a decision by next week.....wouldn’t be surprised if Aarnio is signed for the rest of the year. -

If Swindon weren’t favourites for the league before tonight they certainly are now. -

Just the luck of the draw. Ipswich would have won anyway. -
I was thinking Johansen but I thought he rode for Lynn in 88 & 89 and then Arena in 91 but didn’t ride over here in 90. Could be wrong though. Good shout on Davies.

I can remember that first Loram season at Lynn, would have been 1990. He and Dennis Lofqvist started the season at reserve and until they moved into the top five they scored the bulk of our points every week. Can remember Richard Knight, Garry Hicks and Bo Brhel (his first season) being the heat leaders, maybe Armando Dal Chiele as a second string and I think Sean Wilson popped up later in the season (as did Henka) but can’t recall who else began that year in the top five. Hard to believe it was nearly 30 years ago!

You wonder if the reasons given are genuine or whether his relationship with Tai deteriorated completely. I think he can leave with his head held high. Would like to se some new blood and it has to be somebody who all the riders respect and get on with. -

Just had a quick look.....Stewart, Gappmaier, Nielsen, Garcia, Newman, Ostergaard. Much of a muchness really. Remember Buster praising Aarnio for his attitude and commitment at Leicester a couple of years ago but also remembering him struggling in the Play Off final second leg last year. -

I’ve been many times, the wife is a Manc and we stay with her family up there often. I highly recommend you get up there one day if you can, amazing track. Think this one hinges on Lambert and Fricke being fit. -

If Porsing, Cook and Lambert are all there we have a great chance, an even better one if Fricke isn’t. Am in Manchester for the weekend so hoping to be there. -
Indeed anything can happen, injuries and refereeing howlers for example. If Wolves and / or Lynn do make it then they will have had to be on a roll, it’s all about form at the time.
