Should have gone with R/R but job done. -

Because he doesn’t like Craig Cook. As I’ve said elsewhere if a member of a 1-7 becomes available for whatever reason having not been originally then surely it’s common sense for him to appear and override the facility to be used. -
Cook, Vissing and Kennett banned.

How old are you? As you come across as a petulant child incapable of mature debate. -

Can’t see where any of the accused have got away with anything yet. Everybody should have a right of appeal whatever they have done. -

Would this not be the same though as a double up rider in previous years having a clash but the meeting he should have ridden in getting rained off and he has time to get to the other meeting for which he wasn’t declared? I’d have thought if a rider in a team’s 1-7 becomes available for whatever reason then that should override any facility already declared. -

There is a reason the team hasn’t won away this season (apart from the Elite Shield thingy at your place which doesn’t really count) and that’s because it’s not great. Probably down to Buster making his money go three ways as much as anything else. Anyway coping without one top rider rather than two is quite different, but now Cook is riding Id have gone with R/R as it worked well last week. I think you probably know the answer to your last sentence! -
The idea that Buster would be happy to lose 15-75 every week is ridiculous. Yes he probably builds teams on the cheap but it’s with the intention of winning at home and thus keeping the crowd levels up to make money and not lose it. Home defeats mean less turnover. Putting the Cook debacle to one side I actually think the team he built minus the injury problems would win at home nine times out of ten and wrecking the track like he has was probably intended to help the team win like Lynn and Ipswich do on poor racetracks. But if the team is losing and the racing is gash nobody will be happy.

1. Who said we are that good? 2. Whatever you think of Cook (yawn) going into a meeting against the form team of the league without your top two is less than ideal. 3. Buster has form for a tactical postponement. Just don’t see it though with a healthy school holiday crowd in prospect. -

Josh G has had plenty of good meetings at Lynn in the past, he had an off night last time, it happens. -

There is such a thing as overdoing it though. I think we’ve all been aware how you feel for some time. -

Charles Wright I’d imagine. -
If this is a serious idea I’d probably suggest keeping your powder dry from now on about the guy you want to buy it from.

Have seen plenty of inferior meetings to that on telly, including from Poole. Yes there were some errors which you’d expect on a tight track which had taken rain but there were genuine overtakes too. Not a classic but not bad either. -

I like to wait and see rather than going round stating who will score what. -

STARS BOSS IN RALLY CRY Tuesday August 13, 2019 KING’S Lynn boss Peter Schroeck is urging everyone at the club to stick together in their play-off bid. Schroeck was rocked by the news that Craig Cook is suspended for 12 days after an incident at Eastbourne last week – and that means the GB ace misses a staggering three home meetings. With Robert Lambert still on the sidelines with vertebrae injuries, Schroeck says his side will be up against it when they face Wolverhampton at the Adrian Flux Arena on Thursday. “We weren’t expecting the news on Craig at all and the first I knew about it was when it appeared on the Speedway Control Bureau website,” he said. “I won’t comment on that any further because we need to focus all our thoughts on Thursday and of course it’s a crushing blow to be without Craig and Robert. “We are currently working on our team plans and looking at what options we have but I must say in a league of seven clubs you don’t have many options when it comes to booking guests. “Now we need to stick together and get behind the boys. Wolverhampton will be thinking this is a great chance for them to win but we will have other ideas, trust me. “We’ll update further when we have concrete team news but it just seems everything is being thrown at us right now.” -

I don’t know why we bother riding meetings, let’s save ourselves the trouble and just get foreverblue to decide who would score what, job done. -
Others will disagree but for me out third division is essentially a training league and the more riders who are able to step up to the second tier the better, it means the National League is doing it’s job well. And surely if there is a clash then the senior league is where the rider should be, where his development will be best served. I recognise that the NL club will miss said rider, would they get a guest as things stand or R/R? Perhaps guests need to be granted more widely to cover riders who have progressed to the Championship.

Porsing was poor last night but I’d suspect he hasn’t ridden anything that small and tight since he was last over here and with the track a bit damp and greasy he really struggled, looked like his bike was set up incorrectly too. Not making excuses but providing a few reasons why he was off the pace. Would like to think he will go better when Lynn are there, and we really need him to step up at Poole and Belle Vue. As well as Thursday night of course. -

Perhaps he declined as he disagrees with depriving a youngster the chance of being a reserve. Whoever decided on King and Harris wants shooting. -

That’s just bad luck though, could easily have worked the other way in that Vissing could have been a track specialist who Swindon would struggle to replace. Has very little to do with Swindon (or Lynn with Cook) so a facility has to be granted, don’t see the alternative. -
None so blind as those who don’t wish to see.

I wouldn’t believe everything you read on a P’boro thread.

R/R certainly won’t work every time at home or at all away, if decent guests can’t be found then a temporary signing needs to happen. Puk would be ideal of course. You'd have thought that if there was any prospect of Robert returning soon he wouldn’t have ruled himself out of the next GP.
