  1. im not saying any should be mooved im saying whats the difference between 1 being south and 1 being north theres always fans that have to travel longer distance than others dont think they should be same tracks year after year mind
  2. gp been at cardiff for years and 4's at peterborough and the pairs at somerset all of them just down the road for us proper northeners im sure glasgow will get a decent crowd for the riders championship after all glasgow, edingbrugh, redcar, berwick, newcastle and workington are all closer than what fans have had to travel for the bspa meetings thats been southern bassed for last few years down south
  3. thanks for that topsoil not very often we get a posotive post from a berwick fan id say thats a pritty honest and true review
  4. wish more SPEEDWAY fans were like you halifaxtiger a true speedway fan rather than a fan of a certain rider or team been reading your posts for a good while and not many times could i say that i totally disagreed with your coments in a big way some just havnt got a clue what happens on track they just judge by the end of 4 laps
  5. get the track back to how it was a few years back it was always good racing until they messed round with the track
  6. . think i heard edinburgh are trying to sell him pitty the money laura gave to them to help them stay in buisness couldnt be used to buy him also i would think hes been priced fairly high and if any club do try to buy him it will be yet another sale agreed by arbitration in the end
  7. thats the thing almost impossible to get 7 riders who are nailed on improvers if it was that easy all teams would be fitting for league title in last month of season if roynon gets half as good as he was before a few bad injuries hell be good enough home and away proctor can be a good rider again and mason has shown he can do it just needs a good crew around him to help with setups and such as was prooved when he finished season off on rickys engine
  8. im a little surprised that there seams to be a few who rate matt williamson and i agree he has good style and can gate well more often reserves are only judged on there avergae and matts in my opinion is lower that what i think he should be i really expected him to up it by about another point last year a lot of reserves can be miles ahead in heat 2 at home but cant score another point in the meeting then theres some who come home third in heat 2 then beat a oposition heat leader in there next race you ever seen tj round a decent speedway track
  9. are you looking at same line up im not saying the team looks unbeatable home or away but cant really say it looks disapointing jorgansan is a young rider on the up ty and adam have been at a real good level before and im sure can improve ill hold my hands up and say ty is a rider id never thought off and maybe wouldnt have signed dont really know anything about rob shuttleworth but have heard him mentioned a lot on forums so he must have shown signs lets just hope his winter job dosnt cause any problems and hes also a cumbrian so he must be ok type of guy lots of teams going with 2 real low riders at reserve to gain strength higher up nobody knows how its gonna work out with the new pointslimit and team setup but hey im not too bothered with the team we have at start off season yes i support my nearest speedway team but it dosnt look too weak too me so far
  10. or maybe he just gets a little bored or something
  11. just seen that now but that was posted about a hour after your post on here
  12. who said remainder of team anounced thursday ? i thought they just said exciting anouncement ? might be a big sponser or decent burgger van at last if were really lucky we might get monster girls for the start tarts
  13. so would almost all at workington but vissing is a nice guy and strated the season off very well just tailed off mid season onwards
  14. think your being a bit unfair to some of the riders listed i hope they score heavily against your team whoever they ride for
  15. interesting to see how a rider with good track expeience and only just stopped riding at a good level can turn to management i wish steady all the best in his new roll and im not a sheffield suporter
  16. its not all about how riders ride at home sometimes riders are signed for back up away and hope they improve on the home track
  17. cant see steve lawson holding back a rider because he may not be on best terms (so the rumour goes ) with his son steve lawson is a good guy and a bigger man than to let something like that stand in the way of a up and coming rider
  18. if ji mcgregor is ref then its usualy a scotish team riding so there may be your answer just for the record in no way am i sugesting the said ref is biassed
  19. im sure josh will be real good rider for sheffield just as long as somerset arnt dropping back down in 2018 then you may find he drops his average mid season onwards
  20. comets co promotor steve whitehead has stated the team is built to a budget to try safe gaurd the future of speedway in workington something that others should look at hopefully the season goes well and proves you dont need to break the bank to put on a good show
  21. another forum english teacher jenga must be whipped for making a speling mistake/typo error
  22. come on lets get all the digs in at mason early IF he rides next season like he finished this 1 im sure he will get noticed
  23. i did know that was just trying to see how old the original poster was or if he thought barrow was somewhere else in the country
