it all depends how much they have tied up in it and how much they can afford to loose also how much they are willing to loose to keep it open or loose the lot rather than let someone take it over at the outgoing consotriums cost

speedway is a thankless sport very few owners get the respect they deserve and also it goes both ways the fans dont get respect from riders and promotors the cost of speedway to the average person is too high to get new fans in the cost of running a meeting is too high without good sponsorship only the likes of poole can get enough paying people in to make it pay very brave and deicated person to take on a speedway club (or fool)

been happening for years some riders always seam to be unwell when a team travels to a track they cant get on with just think yourself lucky theres only belle vue up north in the ellite league as workington and berwick often get the same riders from southern clubs who get a illness the day before there due to travel north but are ok to ride on a sunday or monday

thats offical then if the forums no1. story teller says its been raining all day obviously the track is perfect im sure kenny superstar could lap 3 seconds faster in the rain anyway

poor planning on the coach firm the driver appointed shouldnt have been that tight on his driving time all it would take was a puncture on the way home to leave them stranded he must have started hid working day early in the morning you can drive up to a set amount of hours over a set period long time since i used a tacograph so cant remember exact details

dont really like sunday meetings they screw my routine up a lot but slightly looking forward to this more to see what sort of atmosphere is hopefully get some good speedway along the way to lift the crowd a little

same as most speedway teams mate fans pay the bills but last to know whats going on and more often get to know from other clubs before there own

afraid so but why? we have some good riders we were strong in the fours so why are we so bad as a team away

if only workington have a good team on paper but unfortunatly they only seam to perform any way near what they should on home shale we just seam to fall apart away from derwent park

totally agree if a rider is instructed to ride by his relivant authoroty then a facilaty should be allowed if the rider chooses rather than being told hes riding in that meeting thats another thing

kus just not interested at all should be replaced phillips had a poor night but your own team manager had his part to play palavaro dropped in heat 8 and replaced by lewis rose to partner the poor phillips then in palavaros next race came out and rode a superb race to win once again i failed to see why so many class robert lambart so highly yes hes a good young talant but hes not as good as all the hype plenty of rolling/jump starts tonight that were let go ken hansan disqualified during the race for crossing the inside line and matt williamsan slowed when the red exclussion light came on dropping him out of contention hansan wasnt the only rider to cross the inside line tonight but only 1 pulled up for it some good racing tonight in not the best of conditions credit to both teams for RACING all the way to heat 15 with on off rain
