the problem with SOME not all mobility scooters is the people using them have seriuos attittude problems and just barge people out the road -
well looking at final results mason has finished ahead of todd kurtz so im happy about that and all the riders ahead of him with the esception of jaimon lidseywho i know nothing about on the same points id expect them all to be ahead of mason so nothing to worry about there but as allready said he will be judged by uk performance from march onwards

Your Team An What You Expect In 2017....
scaramanga replied to Midget's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
i expect my team to ride to entertain the paying fans and try to win heats and in turn meetings i dont expect them to all get paid max at home every week and for the reserves to score 10 points away from home i expect there to be good meetings and also expect the odd disapointment on the road -
every year its the same there never releassed before christmas and more often than not its late jan early feb as soon as there releassed we will know within 24 hrs and they wont be releassed until there ready
-
dont think mason or ty would have been on my wanted list but my thoughtson masan are well he went ok lasy year in aus and then struggled in uk untill he hit a little bit of form hopefully the changes hes made are for the better in the uk and have changed his form for the worse back in aus its what happens from march that he will be judged on by workington and other uk fans

cant say ive seen anything different from the last few years to be honest but i do agree some just follow others on different threads and question every thing that certain ones say
-
just a little over reaction i think
-
a good captin can make a difference but only if the rest of the team are willing if the captin isnt self centered and can get all the others working together then thats his job done but so many only want the track preped for them and wont or can not help the ones who are struggling
-
not a bad reason but is he respected enough
-
i agree but which way some are talking they want the ones who arnt ready pushed up too soon which will result in them loosing confidence and not making enough money to continue in the sport untill they are good enough yes the odd 1 who is ready fails to get the step up they need to improve but the thing that worries me is some get the chance too soon and it has the opposite effect it will always be the same its not really got anything to do with foriegn riders coming in on a 4 or 5 or foreign riders being given british passports and coming in on the same as brits its about riders who ride in the lower league not looking like there ready and a unknow foriegn rider is given the chance and team place ahead of them insteed its a gamble that some or most teams are willing to make
-
theres obviously lots of people that havnt been paid what they were expecting now just who and how much we can only speculate through the rumours but 1 thing for sure is there has been money thats went into the pot but it looks like not many people actually can trace where this money has gone is it still there has it been sidelined or has it been spent on genuine bills thats the issue has it just been a financial disastor or is there coruption involved
-
there are a few riders in nl yes but are they ready/good enough for higher leagues some can hold there own against the lower end riders yes but most are not ready
-
and if the likes of craig cook and a few others had polish passports do you think they would get a ride instead of a upcoming pole i think not
-
similar to hull a few years back aswell they built a side the won the league resulting in the owners not being able to pay the bills and stop trading as such the assetts reverted back to the bspa which were then offered to the highest bidder as a job lot im sure the bids were in sealed envelopes and sheffield were the highest bidder ahead of tony mole who was at workington at the time speedway is a funny old game you have to put up a bond or use your assetts as that bond if things like this happen where bills arnt paid then the bspa can claim that bond or assetts to use to pay the bills at least thats how it was explained to me from someone involved years ago
-
sorry jenga you havnt been good enough this year so im told like me your getting sod all
-
no but they were born in the same country wernt they holding a british passport dosnt make someone british just what is needed to be classed as british ? so as most of the edinburgh fans are happy hes british because he holds a british passport now what happens if he decides to go back to australia does he need to aply for a visa? nothing against the lad or the team as such but things just need to be made the same for all teams and riders i believe he lives here full time and as ive said in previous post that should count for something but just how much is the debate i dont class davey as a rider that is on a false average if he starts down at reserve but many others of a similar standard have had to come in on a 5 or 7 average some made it some were sent packing its not easy and its not fair young riders need a chance but they need a fair chance aswell
-
he didnt gain a avererage last year so should he be classed as a new rider like mason compton and others were last year not sure of full details regarding him qualifying as british but he came over as a aussie so cant see why hes any different to the likes of ty proctor who was made to go home or mason campton who was made wait till he qualified and the others whove been made to stay or go back to australia yes living here full time like rusty harison did without going home should count for something but not the full on 2 pt british rider thingy
-
does davey come in on a proper old average or assessed average ?
-
i dont mind if he does go well on his return to derwent park as i pay my money to be entertained and when on form he can entertain (when he wants to and not dropping his average)
-
mitchell davey does seam to have a following at amerdale always well turned out and decent style but never seams to pull the points in

why not i know its hard if you are looking for work but i know plenty who do work and are worse off than many unemployed people my own son has struggled to find work and i know its hard but its not a reason to get stuff like this cheaper you get the same entertainment as the full price paying people hope you look after ryan blacklock up there a fellow cumbrian and all that -
arnt your assets used as your bond ? if you dont have assets you must place the required amount in a bond so if you sell assets then you need to use that money as the bond so i was led to believe anyway

ryan blacklock did have a pritty good meating as a guest for workington and actually won a race if he is to ride in the prem league as weve known it then im sure there is some improvement in him hes been up and down in the national league so if hes to continue in the sport at whatever level needs to find something and stepping up a league might just be the thing to make him up his game -
