  2. absolutly the most stupid question ive every seen on this forum and thats saying something
  3. i rate kk but the last season he was in gps hardley scored a point cookie won a race as a wildcard and to prove his from good stuff he lives about within walking distance from me dont know craig to talk to but i do know his dad from years ago
  4. maybe its changed i cancelled my weekly order a few years ago and even stopped reading it from other people as it was just a waste of time ill agree over the winter you did get a few things worth reading to be honest it will take a massive change to get me to start buying it again but im maybe missing out but cant really see it changing that much to make me feel that way
  5. speedway star is too expensive for whats actually in it very little in it is actually new information
  6. dan bewley local to belle vue god id hate to see how far a rider has to be to be classed as long travel
  7. ive said for a few years riders that resign 4 or 5 from the previous year get a reduction on combined average of resigning riders to encourage loyalty both ways not sure if id give each individual rider a reduction but wer4e on the same lines
  8. in my opinion the statement today on the bspa website is long overdue
  9. goog god what a funny thing ive just found a old videp of ricky that was done on his return home although its sad to watch it was nice seeing it again now the thing is id actually come on here to ask if anyone had any up to date news you can add lots more to the list but where do you draw the line for sure darcy had a bad accident that was hard to take as he was no way near his peak but how many benifit meetings should be held for 1 rider yes he will probably need help for the rest of his life but so will others who are home grown riders garry stead laurance hare and so on its hard but theres too many riders thats had life changing injuries to hold anual benifit meetings for them
  10. apart from the incompitant police force its a risk down there anyway it was built on a flood plain and thats been prooved a few times for any that havnt seen what the above post refers to ake a look at the article listed below www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-cumbria-38838653
  11. the thing with both worralls is when on form they can beat anyone from the gate or from the back joe jacobs prooved last season round belle vue hes a different rider i agree that line up could roll out in the old prem league but can it do a job in the new premership well too be honest i dont see why not at home anyway which is how most teams are built
  12. with just over a month till the new season if this aint sorted soon it should be held of till next year very poor situation for belle vue speedway and another embarassment for british speedway it was clear and well known before the end of last season there were problems so why is it still draging on
  13. true but it takes more than a little to make a big difference all i was saying was it wont be enough to turn a club into big spenders
  14. genrally i agree with what you say but not for 1 minute do i think the income from the cattering will be a lot of money yes maybe a few hundred quid now and then and also doing the catering for the rugby wil also bring in a few quid but cant see it being big money
  15. workington management hold campton higher than the workington fans do but we did see odd nights where it looked like someonelse was in camptons kevlars
  16. the problem with SOME not all mobility scooters is the people using them have seriuos attittude problems and just barge people out the road
  17. well looking at final results mason has finished ahead of todd kurtz so im happy about that and all the riders ahead of him with the esception of jaimon lidseywho i know nothing about on the same points id expect them all to be ahead of mason so nothing to worry about there but as allready said he will be judged by uk performance from march onwards
  18. this cropped up about a month ago on the road racing forums still need just over 300 signitures to force some sort of action/responce
  19. i expect my team to ride to entertain the paying fans and try to win heats and in turn meetings i dont expect them to all get paid max at home every week and for the reserves to score 10 points away from home i expect there to be good meetings and also expect the odd disapointment on the road
  20. every year its the same there never releassed before christmas and more often than not its late jan early feb as soon as there releassed we will know within 24 hrs and they wont be releassed until there ready
  21. dont think mason or ty would have been on my wanted list but my thoughtson masan are well he went ok lasy year in aus and then struggled in uk untill he hit a little bit of form hopefully the changes hes made are for the better in the uk and have changed his form for the worse back in aus its what happens from march that he will be judged on by workington and other uk fans
  22. cant say ive seen anything different from the last few years to be honest but i do agree some just follow others on different threads and question every thing that certain ones say
  23. just a little over reaction i think
  24. a good captin can make a difference but only if the rest of the team are willing if the captin isnt self centered and can get all the others working together then thats his job done but so many only want the track preped for them and wont or can not help the ones who are struggling
  25. not a bad reason but is he respected enough
