-
who said remainder of team anounced thursday ? i thought they just said exciting anouncement ? might be a big sponser or decent burgger van at last if were really lucky we might get monster girls for the start tarts
-
so would almost all at workington but vissing is a nice guy and strated the season off very well just tailed off mid season onwards
-
think your being a bit unfair to some of the riders listed i hope they score heavily against your team whoever they ride for
-
interesting to see how a rider with good track expeience and only just stopped riding at a good level can turn to management i wish steady all the best in his new roll and im not a sheffield suporter
-
its not all about how riders ride at home sometimes riders are signed for back up away and hope they improve on the home track
-
interesting
-
cant see steve lawson holding back a rider because he may not be on best terms (so the rumour goes ) with his son steve lawson is a good guy and a bigger man than to let something like that stand in the way of a up and coming rider
-
if ji mcgregor is ref then its usualy a scotish team riding so there may be your answer just for the record in no way am i sugesting the said ref is biassed
-
im sure josh will be real good rider for sheffield just as long as somerset arnt dropping back down in 2018 then you may find he drops his average mid season onwards
-
comets co promotor steve whitehead has stated the team is built to a budget to try safe gaurd the future of speedway in workington something that others should look at hopefully the season goes well and proves you dont need to break the bank to put on a good show
-
another forum english teacher jenga must be whipped for making a speling mistake/typo error
-
come on lets get all the digs in at mason early IF he rides next season like he finished this 1 im sure he will get noticed
-
i did know that was just trying to see how old the original poster was or if he thought barrow was somewhere else in the country
-
was it part of lancaster or cumberland way back then
-
nice to hear plymouth are not lost to the sport a year or 2 in the old national league to regroup and you may make it back up a league or 2 good luck to the new owners and hope all plymouth fans turn out in force to support them
-
should have had better medical insurance then if i was racing at this level id have looked into medical insurance i had cover conected to riding bikes on the road when i was younger and it covered for any sporting events aswell wasnt expensive but that was when i was younger and with all the clever people claiming for broken finger nails and such like its drove insurance cover up a fair bit
-
was scoring more in the pre meeting test meetings in poland than the riders that got into the team but never ginen a chance from what im led to believe and all paid for from his own resorces cost him a lot of money and never got a ride
-
cant see vissing back started off really well but mid season onwards wasnt that impresive as for tero got a lot of stick from some comets fans last time he was here i actually like and rate tero but coming back from injury maybe too much of a risk
-
gotta say im really impressed that a team shows such respect and loyalty to there previous team and that all the riders who finished the season were willing to re sign for the following season if more riders/clubs had the same attitude the sport might improve and crowds maybe would improve
-
ive got to say im sort of impressed looks like rye building a decent team by the three listed so far but the other 4 might be national league standard going by some rye teams recently but i wish them well with what i8s a bit of a gamble mooving leagues but could also be great for the club as there in the right area for the more southern bassed elite leagus that was probably should have jumped leagues a few years ago
-
yep i think ged rathbone had a word with him around august time

Belle Vue National Stadium
scaramanga replied to PHILIPRISING's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
the story i was told from someone close to belle vue a month or 2 back was there are also members of the council with questions to answer -
and also many stay at home to watch sport now rather than out in the cold wet summer
