  1. no need for this post no one wants the air ambulance but if its needed then obviously rules or guidelines come 2nd when peoples lives are at risk as long as safety guidelines are followed
  2. the answer to that is yes theres not loads of room but more than enough to push your bike along the straight till you get to the corners where there is plenty of room to stay in safe plce untill end of heat the pitch is well marked so its clear to see the edge of the playing area
  3. another thing that seams strange why hold a european pairs meeting on the same night as a gp on that note just like to thank janowski for winning the gp when i had money on him
  4. all clubs would like to win the league some try hard but never succed others expect to win everything when building teams acording to the wage bill and complain when they have poor team form
  5. dosnt always work that way but i do tend to agree with you
  6. a few have said for a while campton should be at no2 but credit to mason hes poping up with a few ht wins recently dont actually think thats true plymouth like sheffield last week were better than the score suggests
  7. slight difference workington were still in with a shout untill ht 13 where as at home workington had the meeting won at that stage with workingtons only heat winner being adam roynon who some fans want replaced there wasnt much chance of pulling points back in ht 13 and 15
  8. think your being slightly hard on the sheffield team there was some good racing from all riders tonight as for nathan well thats just part of being classed as the next big thing before you earn the right had his moments when he rode for workington but was also a bit lucky to hold his place untill injury rulled him out as for kenath hanson we are lucky enough to see that type of racing from him regularly worth the admisson money alone when hes in that mood
  9. why is it lack of ambition the so called british elite league hasnt been a good product for quite a few years now yes you have a few decent riders at the top end but the lower end and no disrespedt to them are basicly national league riders the races are 2 in 1 most of them with 2 riders racing for the win and 2 racing for third im not a plynouth fan but i hope as the start post says this move brings the crowds in as the management have tried hard to get a team together that will challenge and entertain so many dont really try to challange and entertain but build teams regarding cost and budget
  10. were all guilty of it at times i hold my hand up and admit im not perfect and sometimes make posts that when i look back the day after sometimes i think well thats not exactly what i meant but i stand by the coment i made when the remark about niki barret was made by the panthers fan
  11. thats the thing with speedway you just cant predict which meetings are going to be the best quite often its the ones you dont expect that are the best entertainment
  12. thats how defeat should be taken too many so called fans cant see past a win for there team
  13. perfect example of how workington stick with riders longer than they should
  14. yeah but we stand by our riders even sometimes when we should let them go
  15. workington will work with other teams to fill gaps but other teams dont seam as keen to return the favour we have switched to acomodate berwick's tv date on a monday but the fixture we were told was waiting for berwick confermation this saturday has now turned into a pairs meeting just to fill the gap
  16. he was trying hard to pass matt wiliamson in heat 8 i think it was maybe too hard either clipped his back wheel or just over cooked it on 4th bend
  17. workington had a few problems tonight but somerset were a solid team paul starke has come on a lot in a few years rode very well tonight although workington had problems to be honest on the night the score could have been more in somersets favour
  18. i too feel for cookie and any other rider who takes the gamble to drop the fabulous prem league in search of better things belle vue situation hasnt helped but also hes found out the hard way polish speedway is hard for brits theres too many good home grown riders waiting to take rides so any brits have to really prove themselves as not all countries are as soft as us brits
  19. thats kildermands style a bit like lindback for me i love watching kildermand if full flight he was brilliant at times round workington up the back straight it would not surprise me if peter was top 3 end of season almost 50% of gps hes made the final speaks for itself really
  20. i looked into bt sports earler this year when motors tv was off air for a short time on sky now ill put my case across the only sports im interested in watching are motorsports which are at the bottom end of priority for broadcastors why cant there be a dedicated motorsports channel for around £5 a month football demands a very high premium why do i have to subsribe to something ill never watch £20 a month for for sports channel is far too much and if people were not as obssesd by football then we wouldnt have to pay such fees to watch other sports
  21. taken from the comets forum These averages have just been released and we have a new number 1! Claus Vissing 8.93 Ricky Wells 8.80 Kenneth Hansen 7.37 Rasmus Jensen 6.71 Mason Campton 5.00 Adam Roynon 4.66 Matt Williamson 3.00 Total 44.47
