  1. not many workington fans were disapointed with hanson at home the later part of the season the guy can ride the boards with the best of them
  2. ive wondered about this with the cookie conection cookie got him in at buxton and ive also wondered if when the time come cookie would have got him in at edinbrugh but expected that to happen while cookie was still riding there to help him out
  3. its obviously someone with foriegn comitments when there having to wait for the fixtures to be confirmed and it dosnt actualy say proven in the prem league it says proven prem league standard how you judge this if the rider ihasnt rode in prem league before im not sure as alot outside the prem league dont understand just how competative it can be
  4. the thing with mitchell davey is everything looks right he is always well turned out his gear looks to be in good order and his style is nice and tidy the only thing that isnt there is he does not score points i always thought he had it but just needed to make that next step something as others have said just dosnt look like happening given the amount of time hes been around
  5. pk can still do a job but the amount of meetings in the prem league might be too much for him
  6. as with all teams its not when they click its if they do speedway is a funny sport that way you can put the best team out there but it dosnt garuntee a winning team
  7. but if they wont pay enough then they will get 1 thats maybe not anywhere nesr the grade
  8. some real nice coments from rival fans and some that are a real surprise obviously workington have had some good sides in the past only for them to self distruct hopefully this side will show some of that paper potential and be right up there all season
  9. you cant have offered enough money for this one
  10. it was once 9 pts for new aussies rusty harrison came in on a 9pt average im sure
  11. dont worry 2016 is going to be that good a sumer mason will think hes back home and be scoring big points ha ha
  12. have you got the one from workington when he gave up rode on to centre green when workington rider was pushing bike home and was behind him
  13. it is nice to see sides built with a few brits but if im being entertained week in week out i dont really care if the side is home grown or built of foriegn riders
  14. there was deffinatly talk of chris kerrs average being put back up to 7 maybe it was if he changed teams rather than stick with the team he started
  15. you could be right but was up for before the courts at one point
  16. finish top 4 or have a average of 7 or higher
  17. when chris kerr was ridding over here he was given 2 or 3 year to maintain his average it wasnt put back upto 7pts untill this period ran out or he switched to a different team not sure which was first
  18. going by the confirmed for 2016 page on this forum which can be found on the link above or at the top of page in prem league section there are only 5 teams still to complete there 1 to 7 edinbrugh have 16.64 left for 3 riders newcastle have 7.22 for there last rider peterbrough have 8.45 for there last rider plymouth have 4.91 for last rider who will be at reserve redcar have 8.40 for last rider and finaly workington have 6.87 for last rider
  19. i know adrian was once a forum member havnt seen him at workington recently but im sure he is still a fan of the sport
  20. well lets face it the british elitte league isnt is it gotta draft in national league reserves to bail it out the prem league has been the league to watch for a good few years now i stopped watching that rubish on sky a couple of years ago yes you have a few good riders /meetings in the elitte league but theres plenty of rubish to go with it
  21. think your being a little unfair there theres plenty of riders around better than campton but theres also plenty worse personaly i think id have looked elsewhere on a 5 pt average but i have also seen mason ride a couple of times when he rode very well beating much higher rated riders with ease
  22. good lad is adrian im sure he still has a copy or 2 at home
  23. were you not there jenga im sure your old enough to remember it well ha ha
  24. coming good is a big under statement weathers was going fantastic at the time he had his accident im sure he was on the wish list at workington
