Birmingham Brummies 2020

Laurence Rogers is a complete and utter muppet. If anyone is pinning their hopes on him being our saviour then God help us. I wouldn’t even trust him to pull a burger out of a bag yet alone a heat leader !! this team will be challenging for the wooden spoon -

Laurence Rogers has posted on the Brummies forum that the list issued is incomplete snd that there are several riders who are on the list but have not been included on the press release for some reason. Laurence had confirmed jack Thomas is on the list snd is the Brummies rising star rider -

Replace Hume with Bacon and you will be correct not sure if Shanes’s World Long Track commitments will rule him out -
1000% agree Reserves should have to be British, under age 21 and should stay at reserve all season, with two protected heats where they only face their opposing reserves

NO NO NO !!! God help us !!! couldnt wait to get rid of him last time around. So very very infuriating and inconsistent, so very very unreliable from estacy to deep depression in just a few hours!!! -

I’m no fan of Laurence Rogers but f he gets us Nico then he’d have one foot off the naughty step. Lol -

Nico Covatti needs to come home PLEASE -
The sooner Rogers is out of our club entirely, the better. Can’t happen soon enough for me

Not much to say about Wallinger other than what an abysmal signing!!! Not the first such mindboggingly strange decision this season. Scraping the bottom of the barrel again

Somerset v Birmingham 10/07/19
the hobbit replied to idh's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
That was because the previous home meeting was rained off. This meant Ellis had not ridden a match for the team so no facility was available. Hence the cock and bull story and the call off. They would have known Ellis wasn’t available for that particular meeting and were expecting to use a guest but the previous rain off scuppered their plans Garbage sport the way fans are taken for granted and so disrespected -

Go in the bar and ask for a glass of soda water. It is ice cold, fizzy water and is FREE -

I’m shocked. That 5 point average will be way out of reach and unless they show far more patience with him than they did with Tobias Thomsen, he won’t last any longer than Tobias did!!! i think the club have done the dirty on Stoneman who rode his heart out in the few meetings he did and certainly didn’t deserve this treatment!!! according to the latest greensheets on the BSPA website, it will be James and Danyon at reserve with Ashley in the top five. An extremely strong reserve pairing but I hope they are physically fit as they will certainly be covering many of the new Danes rides !!! Tobias being on a 5 and in the main body of the team worked against him and I saw flashes of a good rider in there but the club couldn’t/ wouldn’t wait for him to drop down to reserve so I hope they are more patient/ tolerant this time around or it could go badly again -

Birmingham were never ever going to sign Ben Barker. He asked for a team spot but was turned down. Far to much off track baggage as far as the management were concerned !!! that deal was muted and rejected as soon as Ben was released by Redcar -

Think you’ll find the Dane is lined up for next season. If it’s the lad from press and practice, he’s too young to race in Britain until next season but he looked really really quick and very very stylish might be a completely different Dane so will have to wait for the official club press release to be sure. -

Some very fickle fans out there. This is the same Danyon Hume who has been such a firm fans favourite ever since he joined us!!! A 200% trier. I would have him in my team every day if the year above Zach Wajtknecht!!!! -

Shanes was in the Semi final of the European Grass track. ( which he won), which takes precedence and Paco was recalled by the Italian Federation for a three day event which they wouldn’t release him from Stoneman and Morris both got injured on Monday and were not fit to ride Zac Wajtknecht retired we only had two riders fit / available a joke!!!! -

Seems so but as the info and from a club sponsor, I’d have expected them to have hit it correct !!!! -

I’ve raised this question several times with Ryan who is responsible for the output and basically, the club has such good coverage in the local press and local radio, that they have to give those outlets first chance, to go by their deadlines then, the club does its own press releases I’ve repeatedly said that I feel that this is missing a trick and not giving the club the best publicity as many people don’t receive the local newspapers or, listen to WM radio but I’m told this is the way it is gonna be still feel that this policy severely limits things any when people can’t find anything on the official site until less than 22 hours before the meeting, gives the impression, wrongly, that nothing is happening or that the club doesn’t care. Not releasing the news of Zach’s replacement being a classic case in point. I’m led to believe the deal was done and the rider signed ages ago but, we MIGHT get to hear it about 17.00 tonight, a mere 22 hours or so before he makes his debut we are fans, not mushrooms yet we are kept in the dark and fed on bullrubbish far too often as in power cuts etc etc very poor public relations in my opinion -

Had a perfect view of the shanes / Kennedy incident and there was absolutely no contact whatsoever between them. Correct decision to exclude Kennedy -

Just over 6 f we do it now Just over 8 if we wait for the average increase on 1st July how about Danyon how as a temporary signing whilst we sort it out. I’m assuming zach will get a 28 day ban for withholding his services if we do it now, Luke becker if we do it 1st July, Bradley Wilson Deane id he happy with Danyon full time though
