An extremely strong reserve pairing but I hope they are physically fit as they will certainly be covering many of the new Danes rides !!! Tobias being on a 5 and in the main body of the team worked against him and I saw flashes of a good rider in there but the club couldn’t/ wouldn’t wait for him to drop down to reserve so I hope they are more patient/ tolerant this time around or it could go badly again

Shanes was in the Semi final of the European Grass track. ( which he won), which takes precedence and Paco was recalled by the Italian Federation for a three day event which they wouldn’t release him from Stoneman and Morris both got injured on Monday and were not fit to ride Zac Wajtknecht retired we only had two riders fit / available a joke!!!!

I’ve raised this question several times with Ryan who is responsible for the output and basically, the club has such good coverage in the local press and local radio, that they have to give those outlets first chance, to go by their deadlines then, the club does its own press releases I’ve repeatedly said that I feel that this is missing a trick and not giving the club the best publicity as many people don’t receive the local newspapers or, listen to WM radio but I’m told this is the way it is gonna be still feel that this policy severely limits things any when people can’t find anything on the official site until less than 22 hours before the meeting, gives the impression, wrongly, that nothing is happening or that the club doesn’t care. Not releasing the news of Zach’s replacement being a classic case in point. I’m led to believe the deal was done and the rider signed ages ago but, we MIGHT get to hear it about 17.00 tonight, a mere 22 hours or so before he makes his debut we are fans, not mushrooms yet we are kept in the dark and fed on bullrubbish far too often as in power cuts etc etc very poor public relations in my opinion

Because of the stupid way the authorities run the sport!! riders have a different average for team building than they do for green sheets which govern team structure and riding order etc then, they switch to rolling averages Adam’s team building average was this years Premiership times 1.5 now, the ROLLING averages kick in which include his second division scores from last season, plus this years Brum scores, hence the drop

Ulrich is quite simply useless and the only place he is heading, is the reserve berths IF he survives that long. Should be out of the door immediately Zach simply isn’t a fraction as good as he or his crew think he is and, he hasn’t got the bottle or the balls to be a speedway rider. Sorry. Once again last night he showed his lack of bottle. In his second ride, made a half decent gate but when he had both Eastbourne riders by him approaching the third bend, he CLEARLY shut the throttle off and pulled out of it. Not acceptable. Nathan Stoneman put both rides to shame, yet again Tom Bacon showed why he is such a firm fans favourite and just what a miss he is, not being in the team. I’d like to see BradleyWilson Dean plus one other, in for Ully and Zach and if not him then simply anyone will do me as opposed to those two makes you wonder just what Danyon Hume has done to upset the management and not be in the team. Brummies gated on a 5-1. Pickering chased them down back straight and ran into Paco’s back Wheel causing a very nasty fall. No fault from Paco and just down to out and out effort from Pickering very heavy fall. Think he took a hefty blow to the head. Despite his trip to hospital, I’ve heard he was conscious and lucid, talking to paramedics etc so hopefully it’s nowhere as near as bad as it looked best wishes Josh. Get well soon

Yes ( towards the end of last season, particularly when the criticism of Laurence Rogers was at it’s height and he got very upset by it ). Heard nothing from the management this season and haven’t felt like getting involved in any discussions with them

Tom took a guaranteed team place as he couldn’t risk waiting any longer for the Brummies to decide which league to go in and totally missing out on a team spot elsewhere yes, Danyon’s shoulder injuries were considered as risk due to their regularity and the amount of meetings he missed because of them it’s my understanding that Mitchell Davey and at least one other rider were given assurances that they wise guaranteed a team place for this season, regardless of which league we were in then, those places suddenly disappeared over the winter I’m sure most Brummies fans would have been much happier having Tom, Danyon and Mitch in the team we might not be a much better team but the fans would have had some continuity and riders who they had a strong bond with and as such, would probably cut them more slack Unlike some posters, I don’t hide my identity, even having my photo by my name on the Brummies forum so, knowing the management monitor that forum, presumably, they do the same here so, if I get banned for airing my views, so be it There seem to be about three or four of us who are prepared to say it as it is and I’ve already been questioned this season as to the identity of two of those other people so as you can see, it maybe doesn’t pay to be to free with any criticisms
