  1. My apologies - it was 'waytogo28' who made the original post.
  2. I was in a position of knowledge, I doubt you were; which is why I was asking if you did actually have any facts to support your allegation of ineptitude or intractability.
  3. Do you have any facts to support your assertions?
  4. Brandon stadium was not made available to us for racing in 2017 - simple as that. Each Club is required to have a minimum of two Promoters (maximum of three). Some owners prefer not to have a Promoter's licence, but as the rules stand they could only represent a maximum of 50% of licenced Promoters. I haven't noticed many likes for your recent posts here .....
  5. In your original post you did not mention 'owners', you clearly implied that Coventry's closure was the responsibility of the promoters (one of whom was me) and that wasn't the case. If you intend to continue with your negative tirades, I suggest you get your facts right in future.
  6. As their purpose is to keep sharp pieces of shale off the greyhound track, I can't imagine that getting them filthy by using them as track covers would meet with much favour....
  7. If you’re suggesting just highlights of the TV matches I agree, I understood that a ‘whole sport’ highlights prog was being suggested.
  8. Are you sure about that? In my experience reduced admission mainly attracted regular supporters to watch live rather than on TV, not new fans.
  9. No doubt - it’s not what you know, but who you know that’s important!
  10. A highlights show requires broadcast quality filming at all venues every week - I can’t imagine the budget stretches to that.
  11. I’m not so sure. Paying customers fell significantly at televised matches when the broadcast was on a pay channel (when only a proportion of fans had access to it). If a match is live on free-to-air TV I expect the crowd might suffer even more.
  12. Good question. In a perfect world the enquiring Promoter would move on and look elsewhere.
  13. Any Promoter worth his salt should know which Club holds a rider’s registration. Permission should be sought from the ‘owning’ Promoter. Loan fees are on a fixed scale based on the rider’s average.
  14. That’s correct (although there’s no guarantee the rule will be the same in 2020). Don’t forget the conversion factor is 1.6 next season which would give Klindt a CL average of 11.89......
  15. Seems sensible to me. With judicious juggling of the reserves Danny could ride with Iversen three times and Jake Allen once, and Heeps could ride with Allen or Iversen in each of his races. Ipswich need heat advantages to have any chance, this line-up gives good opportunities for that.
  16. Peterborough have announced their team for Sunday with Richard Lawson at 1 and Kyle Newman at 6.
  17. What difference twelve months makes... Last season the Peterborough v Lakeside Championship Shield semi-Final was on the same day as the NDLRC; on that occasion Ben Morley and Alfie Bowtell were required to race at Leicester in the NDLRC in accordance with the rulebook.
  18. In that scenario I agree the senior riders should be available to their CL Clubs, but the NDL riders should not, according to the rulebook.....
  19. Difficult to ‘force’ a rider to appear in the NDLRC, somewhat easier to prevent him appearing elsewhere the same day
  20. The rules state the NDLRC takes priority. What will actually happen remains to be seen.
