  1. SR 16.3.1. In any declaration where 2 or more Riders hold an identical MA (i.e. cannot be determined by a 3rd or more decimal point) then the (re) Declaration must nominate the hierarchical order except that where Riders have a previous MA then the higher placed Rider from the previous issue shall retain the higher position.
  2. PETERBOROUGH duo Lasse Bjerre and Ales Dryml have been passed fit to race in the club’s re-arranged Premier League KO Cup quarter-final clash with Scunthorpe on Tuesday. The duo both crashed during the Panthers’ defeat at Ipswich last week but have received the all-clear to return – although the home side do have a concern over Lewis Blackbird following a heavy fall at the weekend. Peterborough co-promoter Trevor Swales said: “Touch wood Lewis will be okay too. He was involved in what sounds like a nasty crash at Eastbourne on Saturday and his shoulder has really stiffened up since. We will have to use rider-replacement if Lewis doesn’t make it, but we certainly hope to be at full-strength for what will hopefully be our first home meeting for some time. “We need to make sure we are a lot sharper away from the tapes than we were at Ipswich last week because we need to build up a good advantage to take to Scunthorpe for the second leg.” Scunthorpe are looking to improve upon on a disastrous KO Cup record which has seen them lose 18 of the 19 first-round ties they have contested at second-tier level since 1972. Promoter Rob Godfrey said: “It’s about time we had a bit of success in this competition. Peterborough are a welcome addition to the Premier League. They will be worthy opponents, but of course we want to overcome them and progress.” Peterborough are running their reduced admission offer for members of the armed forces and emergency services tonight, with entry available for £10 on production of the relevant identification.

  5. I have no idea why you have such an unpleasant manner towards me, Mick and the Bees/Panthers generally - I am always happy to respond to questions put in the right way. I haven't time to trawl all websites but we're certainly not the only Club who list teams the way we do. http://www.eastbourn....php?extend.530

  7. PETERBOROUGH chiefs have moved swiftly to re-schedule their Premier League KO Cup first round, first leg clash against Scunthorpe. The meeting, postponed last night (Tuesday) after a thunderstorm left the East of England Showground track waterlogged, will now take place next week on Tuesday, May 20. The KO Cup clash replaces a Premier League fixture against Plymouth which will be rescheduled for later in the season. Club bosses feel it is imperative to re-stage the KO Cup clash promptly as Plymouth are waiting in the wings to face either Panthers or Scunthorpe in the quarter-finals which are pencilled in for early June. The second leg of the KO Cup tie is at the Eddie Wright Raceway on Spring Bank Holiday Monday, May 26. The 'TC Harrison' Panthers thank the Scunthorpe and Plymouth promotions for their co-operation on this matter.

  12. That is not the case. PETERBOROUGH have been forced to postpone their eagerly-awaited Premier League showdown against Edinburgh tonight (Tuesday). The East of England Showground clash has been called off due to a healthy and safety issue which is unlikely to be resolved today. Co-promoter Trevor Swales said: "It is a very unfortunate situation and we are absolutely gutted that we cannot race tonight. "It is no-one's fault but a health and safety issue has arisen and we don't expect to be able to rectify it in a matter of hours. "We didn't want to find ourselves in the position of having to call off the meeting much closer to the start time." Panthers will return to action on Sunday (May 11) when they travel to Newcastle.

  17. COVENTRY Storm are looking to extend their impressive start to the National League season when Kent visit Brandon on Friday (7.30pm). The City Gearboxes Storm have won all three of their league matches so far, including dramatic Easter victories away at Mildenhall and at home to Cradley in what was the best meeting since the club entered the third tier last year. Now they face a Kings side who are also expected to be up amongst the play-off challengers, and who track one of the strongest top-orders in the league with Simon Lambert and Ben Morley both having team places in the Elite League via the fast-track system. The Storm go into the meeting without in-form Oliver Greenwood, who has a commitment with his Premier League club Peterborough, and the rider-replacement facility will entitle each member of the team other than No.1 Stefan Nielsen to an extra outing. Coventry promoter Mick Horton said: “To beat Mildenhall and Cradley over Easter was an incredible effort and now hopefully the boys can carry it on against Kent. “The Cradley match was a fantastic meeting and it showed just how good the racing can be at this level. Our boys are making rapid progress and obviously we want the fans to come along and cheer them on.” Supporters are reminded that admission prices for National League matches are just £10 for all adults, with all children free. A busy Bank Holiday weekend sees the Buildbase Bees return to Elite League action on Saturday at Lakeside before hosting the Hammers at Brandon on Monday. CITY GEARBOXES STORM (from): Luke Crang, Dan Greenwod, Oliver Greenwood R/R, Martin Knuckey, Stefan Nielsen, James Sarjeant, Ryan Terry-Daley.
