  1. but isn't that the nature of the beast , when I was crap I was replaced , I didn't like it but as one door closed another opened but nobody has the god given right to be a speedway rider
  2. his comments are not detrimental to cradlleys plite , it's his behaviour and while some may see it as being a "Lad" or a "lady" are the council going to think favourably towards him ??
  3. for me the f2 is the perfect idea but the reality is far from it , I did a day riding the f2s to see for myself if they are the answer to speedways cost , I found they were way to complicated and pretty unreliable and riding wise they are awful as the flywheels are to small for speedway and if your thinking of an entry bike for beginners then a cg125 road engine is a lot cheaper alternative

I have that appetite in general ,I can service speedway engines and can spot any change on a bike even on tv , I have read books like "tuning for speed" and I am what you would call a geek when it comes to transit Diesel engines but when it comes to speedway it just doesn't matter ,it's all about the riders ,I dream of a sport with equal engines where tuners don't matter and it's all about the riders but sadly we are getting further and further away from that and all it's doing is pushing up costs , it's completely different to Moto GP where the bike is king ,
  5. he tends to spout his venom about speedway on speedway friends page or national league page but I think as you can see from his FB page what sort of person he is , there is more that's happened recently but I can't say on here but safe to say it doesn't put the trust in good light , he is a liability to the trust and should be kicked out of the trust and that is a view shared by some of them but it seems not all
  6. I said name the top 2 tuners not some tuners as surely if fans were interested they would know that pjr has been knocked of his top spot and has been replaced by 2 others

  8. when we turned up with the German dogbone engines this year some people had questions but most had heard about GTRs and thought it was a GTR but the majority didn't even notice or care , what they did notice was Adam wasn't scoring enough points on it , even Adam wasn't using them to push technology , he was using them as part of a good business plan , unfortunately the engines were unreliable so the plan fell through yes some are but the majority especially the female fans couldn't care less
  9. the forum is 1% of general fans at any given time and is no indication of any subject and a baby offset has everything to do with current engines as they are the current engines used by riders although not all , the evidence is there if you ask fans, nobody cares or even knows and my earlier question remains , get fans to name previous GM engines and the 2 top tuners in the world today , nobody knows and nobody cares ,half the fans wouldn't know the difference between long or short stroke and if I'm honest half couldn't tell a jawa from a GTR or a GM if they were put in front of them , speedway is about the rider not the machine, I'm coming from the very background that I'm arguing against and know all about speedway engines (Ive used bloomfeldt bullet , Evitts and others and I used to do my own ) and even I don't care
  10. it has been different , there has always been tuners but pretty much any tuner could make a world championship engine but now it's pretty much a closed shop , top 2 or your nowhere , woffinden was a different rider last night and that's because of his new tuner , his talent was the same on his last tuner , I used 90% to be conservative , it's more , there is a select few who understand the engines being used , you say baby offset to any given crowd they wouldn't have a clue what you were talking about and neither would they care , you could ask to name some GM engines , they couldn't , ask a stadium full of fans to name the top 2 tuners in speedway right now , they couldn't and don't care ,speedway isn't a motor sport

  12. nobody is questioning pawlicki's or any riders bravery but pawlicki did exactly the same thing in the last GP and he does it quite a lot in polish league too , he is falling way to easy , kildermand was doing before but seems to have stoped now , the refs will eventually get wise to it and then when he gets knocked off genuinely the decision won't go his way , he is playing the ref at the moment and winning , on a different note the refound performance of tai is everything that is wrong with the sport , not knocking tai he has a huge talent but has looked fairly uncompetitive in the GPs up till now then change of tuner to the flavour of the moment and he is back on top , the sport is becoming/has become a tuners game and that is wrong and 90% of speedway fans couldn't care less about the engine or who tunes it and it shouldn't be important
  13. Upright engines wouldn't make any difference , you can bring back throttle control in laydowns , the ship has sailed on uprights and I am a fan of them I own 7 , 15 heat formula is good , double up down has got to go

  16. Every GP pawlicki plays the ref and wins, smolinski not holding his words back but he is 100% correct

I do agree with a lot of this post but where I do disagree is it does matter who rides for who , look at the following that polish teams have , same product as us but they get the team concept , we went to leszno a few weeks ago for a league match , from the moment you step in the place you know your at leszno , all the fans wear the same colour leszno clothes and the bond between the fans and riders is there for all to see , we sat right by the start gate and when a leszno rider was off gate 4 the fans were all but jumping on his bike to get behind him , the only doubling up allowed is under 21 polish reserves and that's for a purpose to bring young poles on , they don't allow guests and quite frankly would riot if one were used , they are their riders and it does matter by a long stretch just like it does in football , a team following will cover up a lot of short comings that may be happen in the rest of the sport but for me it is the basic principle of any team sport and without it I just follow the GP and polish league even though I have a track 3 miles from my house and was brought up with that team I don't go
  19. while this is a setback , some of the words going round about Mr Benidorm and his antics are doing more damage to the seriousness of the trust
