I would like to see the GP in the northwest somewhere, somewhere like Newcastle or in that area but it doesn’t really matter where it is as long as there is something for the travelling supporters to enjoy of which before or after the meeting last night there wasn’t, we all want great racing but the GP is a circus and when it comes to town it needs to be an event

A noteable thing last night, with discovery not given out freebie tickets like candy very few of speedways life freeloaders stayed at home rather than actually pay to watch speedway

I believe he supply’s belle vue too, Paul Bowen, bowen’s pies

And just as I say that they put true grit documentary on

And as quick as the meeting finished discovery end the broadcast and show some documentary about some car racing, they are the promoters, they own the whole show and have the tv channels to promote the sport and nothing, it’s time we got discovery out of speedway they are useless

Neither Kurtz bewley or zmarzlik put a foot wrong in that final and apart from position none of them can improve on that, that was 3 riders at their absolute peak and was a joy to watch

All got same points, wins 2nds etc and if you use qualifying they both finished above him

How is zmarzlik above Kurtz and fricke ?

Thought lebedevs would be more a threat tonight but he way off it

The gates look very uneven and that’s unusual for belle vue, so much so that it looks like a couple of riders have stalled as tapes have gone up

It’s not the GPs job to improve British speedway although you would hope there was people in the sport who would capitalise on the showcase event to help the domestic sport but have you never dealt with said people? I’m surprised we have got this far

Buts that the problem there isn’t lots of you or enough, we all want great racing but a potential punters aren’t going to be tempted by a meeting, 15 folk up the man cave today who have all been regulars at Cardiff and dragged their family’s along,not one going this weekend and the all acknowledge the great racing belle vue can provide
