  1. So there can't be a 6th team then as they've missed the declaration?
  2. Binding declarations aren't made until the AGM....usually
  3. He certainly owes me nothing as I don't support Ipswich A sports club is not a normal business, if you think it can be closed down without explanation then fair enough Imagine if that were Ipswich Town for example
  4. He is the not just the owner of the company but the custodian of a sports club with thousands of fans. He owes them an explanation at some point but presumably he'll wait and see how the various possibilities pan out before he does that which is fair enough
  5. This weeks Speedway Star suggests that Doyle is restricted to the Polish league and 2 other leagues in 2026 (Polish league and 1 other league in 2027) Hasn't he already signed in Sweden and Denmark?
  6. Yes Wolves and Peterborough next Protection normally is for 3 years
  7. Leicester have just confirmed Fricke has left
  8. It doesn't have to be the stadium he just doesn't run the Witches. The BSPL won't deal with anyone else unless Louis authorises it
  9. If he closes then the rights are still protected for 3 years after closure so essentially you have to deal with Louis and can't swerve it
  10. I'm amazed that anyone is prepared to pay anything. He would be lucky if someone leases it for a season. I'd snap their hands off unless he knows something we don't
  11. I live locally to RH. If anything has been said I've not seen it. Either the owners will have to willingly reinstate the track or the Lea Valley Park will have to force them. I'd say Mildenhall is the most likely if its not Northampton
  12. I'd imagine much will depend on what security of tenure the Witches have at Foxhall and how any buyer perceives the future of speedway The fact that Ipswich may be able to show historical figures that are positive doesn't mean the future ones will be I certainly wouldn't be punting 200k at this time or indeed anything substantial
  13. Does he know Briggo and was an avid watcher of World of Sport?
  14. Will the Doyle news knock any interest in the club out of the field? No number 1 for the Witches now
  15. Who would be waving this cash plus a new air fence and whatever other works would be needed?
  16. Chances of land owners changing their minds are few and far between Every Oxford is seriously outnumbered by those that don't Fair play to the Save Panthers group though for a great effort and whilst the site is undeveloped (as with Brandon, Monmore, Newcastle) hope however small remains
  17. The venue I'd heard mentioned would require some serious upgrades in respect of the safety equipment. i wasn't referring to Buxton
  18. I've not heard Buxton mentioned. The one in question would certainly need some serious upgrades if there was any chance which I'm guessing there isn't
  19. The licence is protected for 3 years after closure in normal circumstances After that anyone can apply
  20. Or possibly a track currently operating at a lower level? Big infrastructure costs though whichever way you turn
  21. If they can't get a PL off the ground and 1 league is out of the question they'll have to try and run challenge/individuals to keep things going As said upthread taking a year out might not be an option for the landlords bar Kings Lynn
